when i was 2 or 3 my parents got a divorce and the judge didnt give my dad visitation rights. my mom didnt let me know my dad until i was 14. its been about a year since i started going over his house on the weekends and i still havent called him "dad". it seems like it would be very embarrassing and akward. when would be the perfect time to first call him dad? where should the setting be? and should anyone else be around?

I have extremely white skin, with no underlying color. I have no freckles, just white. I can't get tan, and even fake tans don't make me dark. I glow.

I have light red hair and bright blue eyes. I'm not albino, but I have blonde eyelashes and eyebrows that I like showing off. I've never seen anyone with the same complexion as me.

People entertain themselves by dropping the "Casper" comments, but I love my pale skin.

Am I an idiot for thinking this?

I am puzzled by the concept of the big bang. Let me ask 3 questions.
1. Let's say at 1 million years after the big bang, what was the size of the universe? I presume that it was "smaller." If i were alive then would distance "feel" the same as today? I would assume that a mile back then would be "less" than today but could I PERCEIVE that difference since everything would be "scaled" to a smaller universe??
2 Did the universe occur "everywhere", ie. come into existence, at once? In other words, did the furthest matter form at the same time as the Earth's matter? If so, did it form at its current location or did it migrate there over the eons? I am trying to parse the difference between "true" distance between points in space vs. distance as a result of expansion of matter within the universe as a result of space itself expanding.
3. Is the universe expanding into the 5th dimension since there is no "center" to this expansion and expansion is occurring to everything everywhere?

I was really hoping Kynt and Vyxyn would win. I am am the antithesis of goth. I'm very straight-laced and conservative, but the fact that those two crazy kids just did their thing and didn't let anything get them down really made me cheer for them. Are Christians arrogant to believe they are the only ones to go to heaven?
A man came to my door today to talk me into going to his church. His pamphlet says "If you died today are you 100% sure that you would go to heaven?" I half listened to what he had to say but once he left I asked myself "Is HE 100% sure he is going to heaven?" Well, if he was 100% sure he was going to heaven that would make him very full of himself, wouldn't it? To assume that you are special enough to have no doubt in your mind that anything else could possibly happen. Not even the teeniest tiniest millionth of a chance you were wrong. Nothing is 100%. "Kills 99.9% of bacteria", "99.9% effective when used properly", "99.9% chance he IS the father!"
Also on the back it says "You need a good Bible preaching church to grow spiritually and learn more about your salvation." Says who? Are they saying then that they are the only church good enough to help you into heaven? Pompous Christians...

i have linksys wrt54gs v6 router

i upgraded firmware to
DD-WRT micro generic - V23 SP2
everything is fine, but i wanted to upgrade to a newer firmware
theres v24 and Eko has one also on www.dd-wrt.com

Which specific one can i use to upgrade without frying my router,? ( i know i need a generic and micro one, )

In other words, if you make money with some online / home business type thing, how do you pay your taxes on that income ? is there a way to caluculate how much to give the IRS so they dont bill your for it later or what? because i kno at ma n pa places with a few employees they have a chart where they can do it by hand so i was wondeingr is it the same thing?

she is 18 years old. She dated a guy who she has had some fights with. Parents only found out because they barge in on her and listen to her conversations. She loves this guy, and loves her parents. Today she hung out with him, her parents found out because a friend called them after seeing her with him. They told her that if she sees him they are kicking her out. Along with some other mean things that had her crying extremely bad. Her dad went out and assaulted him, then came home and blamed her that he might have to spend the night in jail. She doesn't know what to do. I dunno how to help her, other then suggesting leaving. She doesn't want to even called breaking up with her boyfriend, but her parents do not believe her and say if she talks to him she will be on her own. Is this right? Also what should be done? any answers would be good I am worried about her. I am in no position to house her and she has nowhere to go. Please help.

I went to the er on the 24th and they gave me vicoden and motrin so it is like day 6 and i still have pain the vicoden bearly works and now i'm thinking that even if i go to the dentist tommarow they won't pull them because i've downed a bottle and half of motrin 50count in about 4days and they are known blood thinners...So does anyone know if the dentist will still pull your teeth if you've been on these drugs for pain?I'm going tomarrow and i pray they pull them or i will die!

K, here's the thing. i am actually not shy. but most of the time when i meet new people or i hang out with my family i haven't seen in about a year like i literally have NOTHING to say. it gets me soo mad. and even when i want to say anything, it justdoesn't come out. so anyways the point of this question is...i get sooo talkative when i get hyper, and im going to a new years eve party tomorrow and im hanging out with my bestrfiend, and her other bestfriend i have only met once. i am pretty sure that i am probably go to that "non talkative" part of me again. so i need to get talkative by gettinjg hyper. people say i can get hyper by drinking lots of coke because of the caffine, but literally i dont get hyper by that. i need some things that will get me REALLY HYPER,and LOTS OF ENERGY for tomorrow's party or else i am going to be a loser jsut sitting there not talking. HELP PLZZ, HELP!
