I have extremely white skin, with no underlying color. I have no freckles, just white. I can't get tan, and even fake tans don't make me dark. I glow.

I have light red hair and bright blue eyes. I'm not albino, but I have blonde eyelashes and eyebrows that I like showing off. I've never seen anyone with the same complexion as me.

People entertain themselves by dropping the "Casper" comments, but I love my pale skin.

Am I an idiot for thinking this?

No, you sound great to me! I wake up in the morning, and the only color on my face is some freckles and bright green eyes!
[ Very pale beige lashes and brows - virtually invisible ].
Be warned, though that pale skin looks even bigger if you are heavy - so watch the weight!
Also, we 'ghosts' stay out of the sun, so our skin stays in great shape!

A lot of people are under the impression that being tan is more beautiful than being more pale, which is why thousands of girls are ruining their skin in tanning booths all the time.

There are SOO many gorgeous pale women out there. I'm glad that you're proud of how you look naturally. And I'll bet your eyes and hair looks amazing with your light skin!

wear blush.
if people are really pale and look ghostly - thats not cool. but if people are pale and have color in their face and look alive - they can look really pretty. Look at Anne Hathaway, she's pretty pale. In fact, there are tons of celebs that are taking the pale route since studies have shown how bad tanning is. But the idea is you still need to look alive - and blush is instant prettiness. I think a pale complextion with soft pink cheeks is absoluety beautiful.
And if all else fails and you must get tan - bronzer!

No! Of course not! So many people are going for the extremely unnatural looking tan that it's starting to become too much.
You're look sounds really unique and would probably be idolized in some cultures.
Plus you would be really refreshing to see in a mass of orange tans

Pale is gorgeous! ^^ I love being pale.. fake tans make you orange and real tans give you cancer! =D Rather be beautiful pale. Plus, I like the creamyish white of skin colour. Its pretty!

Paleness is pretty.
A whole bunch of top models are pale and it suits them perfectly.
I'd be super happy to be unique instead of having generic brown eyes, black eyebrows, black hair, and regular looking skin.
You sound like a breath of fresh air from ordinary.

No! I used to hate being pale but now I find it gorgeous. :) Most people complain because of what they see on magazines and stuff like that. The thing is to be "tan" but I find it more attractive being less tan and being different. :)

Nope! You might as well embrace it. My ex-husband hated when I got a tan. He was attracted to creamy white porcelain skin...
