The Freemasons did not build the first temple, and they are not the ones who are going to rebuild the new temple, either.

The symbology or building Solomon's Temple in Freemasonry has nothing to do with physically building a structure. Building the temple is about building your body, deeds, and actions into a temple to God. This is symbology, just like all of the Freemason's teachings is about inner symbology.

Jesus did no longer rebuild King Solomons temple because of the fact he stated that the subsequent temple does no longer be of this earth, yet of the spirit. i heard a rumor that they have already started building it... underneath jerusalem's mosque. don't know how true that is. but if it is... hey, at least the basement will be one less thing they will have to do.
