I have always flat ironed my hair (now with a CHI) by blowdrying it first.

this morning my blow dryer quit working so I did it while it was wet and it worked pretty good.

Also two people i know say they do it when it's wet.

Will doing it while it's wet damage my hair?

Am I wasting my time blowdrying it all this time?

or

Do I just need to go buy a new blowdryer?

sometimes, people will point at me in the halls and say SPOILD! i feel like crying sometimes. i mean, this is what i own and stuff that people think is spoild:

my dad gets me what i always want
32 inch sony plasma hd tv
a razor at the age of 10
2 laptops
a plasma computer
wearing earrings every day that are different
nice clothes
a pomeranian
and...
well...
the #1 thing is...
a trip to hawaii or the carabian because my bus broke down one day on the way home and i had to stay on the hot bus for an hour with stinky bratty 5-7 year olds screaming and crying...
but my dad felt bad for me, so he got reservations for this spring.
i know that i sound like i am bragging, but i am not. there is actually lots more that people say i am spoild, but then i would def, sound like a brat. can someone help me?! i dont like it when people say i am spoild.

I almost had an accident a while ago. The driver was on his mobile when he swerved suddenly to my lane without looking or signal.

We get enough lying, cheating, bashing from a male dominated society, Y do females still bash each other?
Many women degrade each other by calling each other bi(ches and are more critical/judgemental of each other. (And THINK this is normal.)

When the guy cheats, the woman automatically blames each other. As if the woman was inadequate that he had to cheat or it was the other women who enticed the bf. Hellooooooooooo? Many guys lie to get some, dont you know this?????

he thinks that the things i go thru are something that i want he had an affair shortly after we got married i did not know for almost two years (she was my best friend) that they even had a child as a result now i always feel as if i am in compitition with this ex best frien there is nothing legal because he feels i always want more from it. i am familure with my disorder but he is not i am on medication but it isnt a wonder drug that makes every thing be ok..I dont have affairs I try hard not to flip out but instead of understanding my withdraw he provokes it. Now because i wont bend on something i have said for the past year and he has respected till yesterday (partualy) he wants to leave being one of my down times I want him to but I know when this episode ends I will regret it ( I think) how do I explain this when he wont listen

I asked a question last night about my mother turning 60 and I have received wonderful and eye opening answers, thank you to all who took the time to answer.

My brother and I have been planing to buy a little house for our parents. For the past 35 years they have lived in a renting house and it has become too big and too expensive for them.

We want to do that well first because we love them and also because they worked so hard all their lives so we could go to University (both my parents only have a grade 6).

How would you feel if your children bought you a house? would you feel they're butting in your business, would you see it as charity or would you feel you're children doing it out of recognition and accept gladly?

They're so proud. We buy them airplane tickets to visit us and they have a hard time accepting them.

I'm a woman in her mid 40s but so lucky as I look in my early 30s. Im going through a really hard time now as I've achieved my career goals..can afford to take it easy but would love to meet a nice guy. I've had very few relationships even though I know Im good fun and am pretty (lots of friends tell me & Im often asked out). Two relationships went on for a few yrs but i couldnt have imagined spending my life with one of those guys and the other one lacked focus (I work hard and need this in a guy). I even tried online datine recently..but it is not my thing..I need to feel someone's presence to see if I like them. Problem is my taste is v narrow...younger guys/goodlooking/high achievers/nice person. I like so few, it is so difficult not to be lonely sometime. I have a good life otherwise, nice friends & family..but need LOve! Is this bad luck? Why cant I meet 'my guy'? I dont go consciously looking for a guy..just live my life but still, Im hungry for love.

I'm only 21 years old

My passion for music has been since I was born. Mainly old school salsa, bolero , Cuban son , my Idol being Hector Lavoe. So I was thinking for a long time about becoming ( or atleast try the struggle ) a musician for a living..

I'm studying IT at college , it's not something I like , but my parents told me , get a Degree to fall back on , you can always make music but it's not certain you will make a comfortable living with it.

I dont know what to do. When I watch old video's of live musicians it makes me emotional . It's not that I HAVE to reach a certain point ( for example fame ) to be content with my music.

Although I would love to make a living as a musician , it's good to stay ..... "realistic". But it's also important for me to make a comfortable living , the nice house , cars ...

I dont what do do and I'm depressed.


PS : Today's music makes me sick. Those so called "singers" / musicians couldn't sing live to save their life
