My wife gives me a very hard time whenever I tell her that I'd rather not go to see musicals or operas. I hate going to them and they make me insane with agony when I'm sitting there. I've gone to a number of them in the past because she likes them, but I can't sit through any more.

She says I'm not being a good husband b/c I don't want to go w/her. However, I like to watch football and basketball (I know this is very stereotypical, but it's true), and have never, ever made her feel bad about not watching the games w/me. I figure, if she doesn't like to watch the games, then why on earth would I want to make her sit through something she doesn't like? I'd never do that. Why doesn't she think the same way about the opera & musicals?

Why is it that I *must* endure the operas & musicals in order to be viewed as a good husband? I don't get it. She *knows* I don't like them. What enjoyment could she get if I'm sitting next to her, when she knows I'm suffering through it?

There was a blonde who found herself sitting next to a Lawyer on an airplane. The lawyer just kept bugging the blonde wanting her to play a game of intelligence. Finally, the lawyer offered her 10 to 1 odds, and said every time the blonde could not answer one of his questions, she owed him $5, but every time he could not answer hers, he'd give her $50.00. The lawyer figured he could not lose, and the blonde reluctantly accepted.

The lawyer first asked, "What is the distance between the Earth and the nearest star?"

Without saying a word the blonde handed him $5. then the blonde asked, "What goes up a hill with 3 legs and comes back down the hill with 4 legs?"

Well, the lawyer looked puzzled. He took several hours, looking up everything he could on his laptop and even placing numerous air-to-ground phone calls trying to find the answer. Finally, angry and frustrated, he gave up and paid the blonde $50.00

The blonde put the $50 into her purse without comment, but the lawyer insisted, "What is the answer to your question?"

Without saying a word, the blonde handed him $5.

When you go door to door, I would imagine there is a certain type of person that will be the most amenable to your views. Is it the person who has only a rudimentary knowledge of the Bible and the tenets of "Christendom" as you call it? Is it the person who has plenty of biblical knowledge and yet suddenly sees things from your perspective instead? Is it the person who holds a non-Christian (Wiccan, Muslim, etc.) or atheist belief? Other demographics?

I know shes been through a bit with B-Cancer but shouldnt it really be the surgeons and nurses who helped save her life be getting the honours, and the other peoples lives they save day in day out???!!!???. Would she still be a survivor if she hadnt got the money she had for such good treatment? ive nothing against her but i do think an honour is a bit ridiculous for a pop singer!!!

I am supposed to be entertaining tonight at 7:00 (five hours from now). I bought a frozen turkey and put it in the fridge to defrost 4 days ago!! It is STILL frozen. I am so frustrated I could scream. Any ideas of ways to quick-thaw it like within the next hour, without using the microwave? (It wouldn't fit in there.) It's a 14 lb. bird if that helps. The outside is fairly thawed, but the inside is still frozen.

Our consciousness affects our subatomic particles and by quantum physics we know that the particles can be anywhere at any given moment or spring up in multiple places at the same time and most likely in more dimensions.

So, wouldn't it make sense that we are existing somewhere else at this very moment and when we die we just continue life in one of the places that we are already alive? Life just continues in these circles with there being no true death other than past things falling apart.

Does anyone believe this idea? If you don't, why? If you do, then what is the point of all this?

PS. I'm not high, just bored. Don't bother with the predictable jokes.
