I'm not anorexic or anything, im 13, and if i eat healthy and exercise, i usually lose 3 pounds in a day. People say thats too much, is it because im still young?

If somebody is sending his/her articles to a private newspaper, should he expect financial incentives regarding his/her journalistic contributions? There is no contract, no prior promises of financial reward, and the newspaper can cancel these articles, I mean they don't have to accept his articles. Should he receive any charges or financial incentives for his/her first articles on a private newspaper or he should wait to publish many articles and after that ask them for financial rewards? What could be the system of financial grants in private newspapers for novice writers?

We are having some problems in my family with my two sister's. One sister has been married 3 times, and soon to be divorced again! And my younger sister is filing for divorce also after 11 years because she say's not enough intimate times. Never mind the home he built (2 times for her)! Both sister's have 3 children, but complain the passion is missing(working 60 hours per week will take away alot of passion). Now I have been married going on 17 years, and yes THE PASSION is not always there! But, your history together, your children, and extended family, are all thrown away! I think we sadly have become such a throw away society anymore and very selfish, instead of selfless! How do you married couples like me and my wife feel? Is there a total commitment really exist anymore?

I have a friend from Korea, who me and my group of friends have been hanging out with for the past year. She will be returning to her country around the end of January, probably forever.
We invited her to spend Christmas, but she never showed up or called. She had said she was coming for sure. We called and called, and haven't talked to her since then, but we did talk to her parents and they said she went to hang out with friends that day. My family had even bought her Christmas presents!

My question is, should we continue to call her to hand out with us, even though she totally flaked out on us? . Or should we just not call her again, and if she wants to hang out, wait for her to call? What is the right thing to do? Just ignore the problem, or cut off the relationship, or address it? We are pretty good friends (I thought).

A man is lying in hospital with an oxygen mask over his mouth and nose, and is still heavily sedated from a long operation.
A young nurse appears to sponge his hands and feet.
'Nurse' the man mumbles from behind the mask, 'Are my testicles black?'

I have been playing Sims for ages and I now have Sims 2 with all of the expansion packs (up to Bon Voyage) and no "Stuff" packs on my computer. My computer is a laptop, Dell Inspiron E1505.

For whatever reason, I will be playing and the screen will freeze up and nothing will unfreeze it and I end up having to shut my computer down. Other times, I get an error message that says "D3DERR_NOTAVAILBLE." It gets to the point when I am saving my game every 5-10 minutes just to keep from losing all my progress but that's a pain in the butt.

Laptop specs:
Windows XP Pro w/SP2
Dell Inspiron I6400
Intel Core Duo
T2400 @ 1.83 GHz
1.00 GB of RAM
11.4 free GB on C: drive

Please... any suggestions would be appreciated!
