depending where its lame look for obvious signs?is it the fetlock leg swollen ?is the hoof hot?have you picked the hoof out to see if there is a stone anywhere some times they get lodged between the frog and the shoe and can cause lameness.
is there an injury that is causing lameness on your horse.
is it a severe lameness meaning your horse could of broken one of the bones?it could be the stifle causing problems?
unless it something obvious like an injury or abscess call a vet?

Maybe let someone else care for him/her.
A pet cannot be "lame" because there is so much care involved.

ESPECIALLY for a horse. They require LOTS of love & attention.

They're very smart & need to be kept busy to avoid depression.

There are SOOOO many activities you can do with your horse.

You can train her to do so many neat little tricks.
Even a simple trail ride can be benificial for the both of you.


**And IF you did mean LAME as in it's health condition, then an obvious answer would be a Vet visit.

First of all, you need to try to figure out what part of the horse is sore. Until we know this, it is kind of hard to give detailed advice!! :-) Good luck!

Take your horse to the vet. Then maybe the farrier.

If it can't walk, contact your veterinarian.

If you think it isn't a good pet, then that's another story.
