I want to try surfing if I ever get the chance, but I'm not sure I'm a good enough swimmer to do so. I can swim of course, but I'm not great at it. I've only swum in the ocean once (I live in Minnesota), so I don't know if I have what it takes to come up after being taken down by a wave.

we are in a one-bedroom apartment and need more space but we can only afford to move to a neighborhood with less available convenient shopping and now we found a house we can afford but it is 7/10 mile form the things and people we will be walking to regularly. It will never be this easy to buy again (nothing to sell first) but I just cant get comfortable with the location. I dont want to cheat him but I need to feel comfortable. I have always had a problem making big decisions. i need a strategy to come to some conclusion about buying this house or not. If I wait the market will just go more in our favor bu tthere are no gurantees. How can I sort this out?

I am trying to stay under 140 calories for snacks. I've been eating slim fast snacks, nutri-grain bars, apples, and nuts, but I'm getting so sick of those. Any other ideas so I can stay on track.

Arrrrggggh. I now have electric heat. My bill went up $180 since I turned the heat on. I just turned the heat off and bought a portable heater to try to save money. I never thought I would have to do that, but the amount they want is obsurd. People in my neighborhood say the bill runs the same for them, so they just turn the heat off. I am a college student, and $240 is a lot to cough up for electric. I don't have drafty windows or anything. Will the portable heater save on my electricity, or am I fighting a loosing battle here? Any suggestions? Man, utility companies are the most professional and legal crooks I have ever seen!

I met this incredible guy two years ago. At first he showed the signs that he likes me then i started to like him too. secretly of cource i am waiting for him to tell me first. this kind of relationship had been going on for a year and then we even had a class together and i thought this year he will tell me because we become closer together seeing him everyday for twoo hours in class. but as the semester progresses he is slowly showing no signs of affection to me.instead i witnessed him getting closer to a girl in our class. they are always happy when i see them. this hurts the most really. i feel like he likes me a lot but why did not tell me all these years i have been waiting and all my hopes are crushed. after three years i saw them still together on the mall i thought to myself that could have been me. it really hurts to see it because i regret myself not telling him that i know he likes me and that i like him twoo

so basically i ONLY bought this car because i was told i would get 40mpg - i only get 28 - not happy. i went back to the dealership and they kept screwing around with me passing me from salesman to salesman - finally i got one who would help me and now they are telling me they will only trade me $2000 less that what i paid for it and it is my fault it took too long to come back - i have plenty of stuff in writing - different excuses why our appointment dates would no longer work and such- i do not want this car now that i found out it does not get 40mpg. the originaly salesman no longer works for the company and apperently if he did, he would have been able to give me more trade in-shouldn't his company have to support what he did wrong when he was working for them?! SO not happy! they tell me - well i am sure he didn't mean to misinform you - well he probably didn't, but i am getting the raw end! any advice appreciated! thanks for reading my vent!

My baby is 2 mths and 4 weeks. My hubby gave him a little bit of syrup from the canned longans. I scolded him because I know that we shouldn't start baby on anything until he is 6 mths old unless told by pedaetrician. What are the complications if my baby is feed food that we adults eat on the long term? When can he start eating food or drinks that we take?

When should I stop breastfeeding? I don't really like the idea of formula........ When do children stop taking milk? I also don't give my baby plain water because I read up in the net that babies who are breastfeed don't need plain water unless they are taking formula. People have told me that if I don't start baby on plain water he will have refuse it when he grows up. Is it true?

No pacifiers and bottles throughout baby's growing stage? Is it normal?
