This isn't a matter of "you say no."

It is a matter of not trusting the source.

A salesman comes to you & says your product is going to be outdated & useless & you need to buy HIS product.
You believe he is full of it or his boss has fed him lies so you pass, honestly believing your product will not become out dated so quickly.

That is a better anaolgy

I'm leaving the God/Ark/tickets to Jesus parts of this to somebody else, but I DO agree that it's the companies' fault when they upgrade and leave you no choice to remain with the technology you had before. Like Windows Vista...so many people say it stinks, but you KNOW that inevitably, you'll have to "upgrade" from XP unless you want to switch to Mac or Linux...which I'm planning on doing.

It's the same with everything, a version of "built-in obsolescence", as my father used to call it, referring to cars, and how they inevitably break down, so you need to buy a new one.

The only other solution is to become a techno-geek, so you can patch together your own system and tell the companies to get bent! Same goes for installing solar power and getting "off the grid"!

Hi! I wouldn't compare software and television companies to God the father and Jesus. When I think of huge corporations I picture someone with pointy horns and a forked tail. Please Lord let not the dark angel of Microsoft Vista visit the innocent this holiday. And let not HD beal take the bread money away from starving children. Hallolua. Lord forgive me.

In the last 2, where god murders people, it's gods fault.
Let me explain:

Hey, a criminal says "do as I say, or I'll kill you". You say no. Then you find yourself dead. Whose fault is it?

Now, just replace the word "criminal" with the word "god" and you have your own example.
Isn't that sad?

Jokes not withstanding - when Microsoft issues a new operating system they don't murder everybody who doesn't upgrade to the new system and they don't condemn to Hell everybody who owns an Apple.

That's a big difference, isn't it !?!?!??!

It is your own fault!
It's like the joke about the woman on the rooftop in the flood.
Everytime someone came to rescue her,she refused, saying,"God will save me!"
Finally she drowned & she asked Him why He didn't save her.He replies,"I sent a row boat,a raft,& a helicoptor! What else were you looking for?"
When we know it is comming,we need to get prepared!

no longer all persons see in Black and White, many nevertheless see in colour. The blame is on lack of wisdom's impact on a persons' aesthetics, they grow to be ignorant of issues and would possibly no longer see the actual attractiveness in many things,, or maybe all issues! it extremely is lack of wisdom that led to the inability of aesthetics!
