Suppose my GPA in 9th grade was fantastic, and then 10th was a little downhill, and then 11th was a little more downhill. From 9th - 11th grade, it was all honors courses (school doesn't offer AP until senior year.) Then, senior year, I took all APs an actually did my work and 'Anti-Slacked' for a 3.8 GPA. How important is this to colleges? Will the giant improvement in all AP classes show that I can actually handle the course load, and help the colleges overlook the low period of my GPA?

So I was thinking of going and buying the Computer, Flight Simulator, Star Wars: TIE Fighter and I hear it's an old game. All I need to know is if it will work on Windows XP, because I don't want to get it and not have it work on my computer.

*****
Life, through a sight glass
Prepared, stylized, perfected
Controlled experiment
Organized information
Logical outcome

When I, under a quiet autumn moon
Spied a vision of beauty beyond belief
In her sleep, with the golden leaves falling
I laid next to her and stared at the sky

Love, through a looking glass
Pretentious, stubborn, perfect
Uncontrolled excitement
Organ grinder’s monkey
Illogical outcry

And why do they think that even if they did, that only inhabitants of earth are shapped perfectly and beautiful. Also if they really did exist don't you think NASA would have seen at least one evidence in space?

My family consists of about fifteen people, children,g-children ect. They all are meeting Christmas day at my oldest daughters house. All of my children live a distance from me..an hour or two. I am planning to drop in to give gifts, my e-wife that practically lives there, will be there. My girlfriend is invited but refuses to go . My girlfriend says that if I go there and my x-wife is there , she is going to break up w/me. It is rare for my family to be together at one time. It's Christmas.....whats an hour with my x-wife there going to hurt?

My husband is almost 26, and we are currently living with his parents. Every time we go out somewhere important (to a family function or a wedding or whatever), his mother insists on doing his hair for him. I think this is absolutely insane, he is WAY too old for this to be going on, and I think it shows that she still thinks of him as a little baby and not a grown man. She also makes our bed if I am at work. I consider both of these things to be overstepping her bounds, she needs to back off and let us do things on our own. I don't know if I have the right to speak up about it. DH will not stand up to her about it because she gets a MAJOR attitude about stuff. He just lets her do it and keeps quiet to keep the peace, but I think something should be said. Should I speak up about it the next time it happens, or should I just let it go?

If you are in a committed relationship (living together), do you think its okay for the man to spend time at another woman's house til 4am, saying they are just friends. I think it's inappropriate, but my boyfriend says otherwise
