Other than the fact that Chaney has deception written all over his face, I assumed that a shredder broke down.

Being that it's a ceremonial office, and not his official paperwork office, not as much. I think it's a strange irony more than an attempted cover up.
Plus it's an old building, and even tiny fires inside old buildings burn very quickly and do immense damage.
I'll pass judgement once the fire investigation is over and the facts are presented.

To be honest Yes,but I talked my self out of adding dirt to the mole hill. Because Thank God no one was hurt. I still have this little dig, nagging at me. But I rather deal with true facts than, what I don't know. We have enough hate.for the White House Staff now. It not them I hate, it some of the polices they try throw at me that I hate. I love Peace, and that is my hope to see it for all of us. Have a Very Merry Christmas.

No, not really. Fires happen everyday, and some of those Capitol buildings are over 200 years old.
