It's very common. It'll fade on its own in a week or so but if you don't want to wait, try wiping down the insides with a mixture of water and white vinegar, then put in a box of baking soda.

It should have that new paint smell but when its running you may smell something when it heats up because it says in the instruction book that it will run for several hours, getting down to the running temperature. You didn't lay it down on its back or side did you? If so you leave it up right for four hours to let the refrigerant oil run back down to the compressor.
You could be smelling the paint on the condenser, Cooling fins. If it smells like wiring getting hot unplug it and call the people you bought it from.

Yes, new fridges have a bit of a smell. It shouldn't be too strong and it should go away in a few days at most.

You can help it out by washing the inside of the fridge with soap and water.

It is the smell of a new fridge. It will go away after it cools down and you put food in it. You will smell the same smell when you open a fridge on a display floor.

New fridges smell the same as new shoes or new cars. It will be gone in a couple of days. If it isn't gone in a week, since you can't describe the smell, then you can call up the manufacturer. Otherwise it's quite normal.

It should be a "new" kind of smell - not bad though. Don't use it to store anything for about 24 hours until all the gases have sorted themselves out in the workings.

Yea, like plastic. The smell will go away. Wipe it down with a nice smelling cleaner (like fantastic) and put a box of A&H baking soda in it.
