We want to put new skirting boards in, but there are unsightly pipes under the rads, which run along the top of the existing narrow skirting, can you buy moulding or special skirting that will cover the pipes?

My bf, wants to get married. One problem. He refuses to tell me his past.
He is 43. He hates talking about his childhood. Anytime I try to ask him something about what he did in life between the age of 20 and 40 he shuts down. He says that he does not want to go there. That he does not want to talk about his past. He has never been married. Has never had kids. He has spent a little bit of time in jail. A few weeks here and there for drinking. I have known him a year and I have been going out with him for 6 months. I want him to be open with me. I want closer to his past. Yet, he will not tell me. Then, it is all left to my imagination to wonder.

What would you do, if the guy you want to marry refuses to talk about his past? Especially if you felt like he was hiding something from you?

He is a nice guy. I just feel like I don't really know him, because he won't share.

I even asked him if he used to be gay. He said no.

Thoughts?

my early 40's and a recent breast cancer survivor. I'm posting this looking for honest opinions from men as I don't have a lot of male friends to ask. I have scars and implants now. What do you men look for in a woman? I have kept myself in great shape and take good care of myself, have lots of interests and friends. And I do know how to treat a man. How soon should I reveal the fact about my cancer? Would you still consider a woman to be sexy even with the scars? If I didn't immediately tell a man about the cancer, would he feel like I hid something or somehow lied to him? And one more ?.....it's been a long time since I was on a date. If I invite a man in for a drink or coffee after the date would they think they were automatically going to be invited to spend the night? Thanks for your honesty and please, no jerks.......

I can’t stand that she smokes; we are both adults, we are together since 3 years ago and she smokes since a long time before that. She smokes very few, but I can not stand even one. She knows I do not like it and she tries to do it when I am not around, but the odor remains.
I had even taken the cigar from her hand a throw it in the floor.
What can I do to make her stop smoking?
makes me believe that smoking for her is more important that our relationship.

If I do attend the Christmas Celebration at my wife's sister this year a number of her family will not want me there. I will be kept out of the discussion and made to feel like an outsider. In the past I have just kept my mouth shut and put in my time. This year I am not in a good mood and will have a harder time.

I wonder how common this is in families all over America. Is there alot of conflict on Christmas Day and isolation of outsiders, or is it all sweetness and light because it is Christmas? Tell us your stories of mean relatives who may try to isolate you at Christmas?

From what I have seen on here, I think it is fair to say the following:

DO you people like Rey Misterio JR (WCW Version) but hate Rey Mysterio (WWE Version)?

That is what I think is the majority opinions but I want to make sure.

I like him both ways but in WCW he was alot more entertaining and everything and more fun to watch. Your opinion please.

i am looking to bulid a dog house for my great pyrenees

he stays outside with our live stock and i wanted him to have somewhere to stay dry and warm

but the thing is, i dont know what type of wood to use

Because of ancient stories, passed down from word of mouth and not written down until much, much later?

Because a person "just knows"? Because of popular opinion, or because it's the kind of thing that people want to hear?

Because the preaching of the cross is to them who do not believe, foolishness? But who wrote that? Someone who wanted to make sure that people who believed it had a defense against those who do not? To call them foolish for not believing something so ridiculous is NOT a good comeback!

Psychologically humans are capable of deeply and sincerely believing all sorts of things that aren't real...

What makes this belief different?

(Those who say the evidence for Christianity is sure, are deeply misinformed - plus Jesus says that it's foolish to look for evidence.)

Alright, I was wondering, can I have fancy guppies with a male betta splendens (The betta most people are familiar with)? Or will there be fin nipping, harassment, ect.? And will the betta eat fry of my female guppies, or leave them alone? I'm a bit parnoid because my angelfish is a HUGE fattie that eats EVERYTHING. I have to keep 6 month old fry away because he will try and eat them (I saw him try).
