but i want to say "love of the fatherland is 'my' law"

Ok, we were at a relative's Christmas party this afternoon and of course my uncle, who's the world's biggest jackass, has to be invited to spread his usual lame hijinks. Alright, so the adults were having cocktails and talking while the kids opened their presents. Nothing weird there, right? Then my 3 year old daughter opens his present to her - A LARGE CAN OF LEAD PAINT. what the hell?!?! He starts to laugh like a hysterical hyena as everyone else is just really silent and not knowing what to do. my daughter burst into tears and ran out of the room when my wife took it away and explained that it wasn't a big bucket of fingerpaint (WHICH SHE LOVES). It took forever for her to calm down. I am so angry

Ok i need to know Exactly WHY,, not just because

there is no stone in the common bile duct nor in the neck of the gallbladder,, nothing is blocking the bile from flowing,, only 2 small gallstones are giving me tremendous amount of gas for months now.. WHYY??

Well, my real name is Veronica. I want my satage name to be Verotica. I am really feeling that name and I have been already using it. I just don't want it to limit me as to what type of music I can sing and where I could sing and who my audience would be. Do you think the name is more important or the talent. I am in college so I consider myself semi grown up, but within the nex couple of years I hopefully will be greaduating and finding a job. I have a job right now its a good job but I don't want to stay in this position. I am scared that when I graduate i won't be able to find anything and all that time and money will be for nothing especially considering my major is Communications. I just don't want to graduate and be stuck in the same place I am now. I guess I just need some happy thoughts and that with time I will get over my insecurities and be able to make something of myself.

I was looking out of the window last night at the stars and was thinking how come there is space? I mean surely space can't have always existed can it, surely there was a start?

Surely space cannot just keep going on forever in any direction, but then again how is it possible to end, what would be one mile the other side of the end of space?
If space does just keep going on forever well there must be infinite planets like Earth where there is intelligent life on it. We can't be the only one in this whole infinite space.

I'm looking at hiking in British Columbia at the end of September / early October. I would like to do a few day trips and possibly a 3 day backcountry trip in the rockies or vancouver island. I've done a fair bit of wild camping in Scotland, so have some expertise / kit. Any tips on this?

It is towards the end of the season. Are the trails / huts likely to still be open or shut for winter?
Any recomendations? Top day trails? Good 3 day backcountry trips?
Any public transportation to trail heads, or good ones starting near tourist spots?
Any networks for hooking up with a likeminded fellow for the trip?

Our Kohler sink needs a bigger hole than cut in the tile due to the sink clips. (The hole was cut assuming only caulking would be needed.) We're looking to see if there are special sink clips that also work as "expanders", if we should cut the tile somehow (yikes!), if we should just try to find another sink with (somehow) the same dimensions as the hole, or if there's any other solution.

Countertop is 1.5" plywood (two layers) and ceramic tile set in mastic (no Wonderboard etc.)

I met a guy on an online dating site. We went to the movies and coffee. I was nice and friendly but he did not seem all that interested. Interesting, because before we met he said stuff like I was sent to him from heaven above and acting like we had a future together. I checked out his profile and it was all sexual. I think maybe he wanted sex and when I was just friendly and that's it, he lost interest.

Last night he IMed me and said he has met bitches and users and abusers. I am not any of these things. Why would he go for these types that use him when I am a nice decent woman and I would never use him and be faithful to him?
