I will be 100% alone over the holidays, unless I look in the mirror. I get to be with myself. I like myself, and I am my best company! Circumstances don't permit a 900 mile trip to see my two sons in Wisconsin, three siblings, in Houston, Milwaukee, and Chicago. On Christmas Eve and Day I will feel like combat control center as I get barraged with phone calls. I know they love me!

Put on some nice music, cook a nice meal, and settle in for a nice day with no traffic and commotion. It's a stressless day. Make the best of it! One thing I do know is, that I won't be standing in an airport wondering where my Jet is! Chill out and be happy to be with yourself!

I will start work at 11p on Christmas Eve and work till 7a, I will have a bunch of argumentive icky guest in the hotel where I answser phones, and 1 co worker that will be complaining about his life and mother and brother. Sigh, then I will be alone on the bus home then eat and go to bed until work the niext night. My family is 1700 miles away, and I am not involved, and seeing as how I work grave and my friends don't celebrate until mid afternoon, so I am asleep by then. Sigh.... always alone at holidays.

But that is okay, I like my company. :)

As a matter of fact, I do believe I will be alone on christmas day. I have 2 daughters and a boyfriend, (well if thats what you want to call him) My oldest daughter who is 19 lives back east in Georgia, Im in Ca. I cant afford to fly back there. And my youngest who is 17, She lives here in town, But she recently moved out cause she said she dont want to live with me no more, and that she hates me. This all came about because I said something to her and her cousin about the dishes being dirty. Her cousin also lived here with me. Now they both live with my sister. If she thinks she will have a better life there, Then let her get her hands full. Cause I bet she will come home before to long. Now as for my boyfriend, Well lets just say he has not taken me around none of his family or friends. Ever. Granted we were apart for almost 2 yrs, now back togather for 3 mo. I still aint met none of his family or friends. But besides that, He is always doing his own thing. I know he wont be around here on xmas day. And he dont care if I sit here alone. So ya, I myself will be here alone on xmas day. But I got my kittys. They love me unconditionaly, And I know I can trust them.

Well, not totally alone, but I'm also not with my family, so just the same. I'm in Iraq right now. We have the chance of missing next Christmas too.

That's sad =(. NO one should be alone on Christmas. As Cliché as that is, it's true. I don't mean to rub it in cause idk you could enjoy being alone on Christmas but no I won't be alone. I'll be with my family.

EDIT: wait i just thought of something. Some people DO deserve to be alone on Christmas lol. Like you know what kind of people I'm talking about but anyways I hope it works out for ya.

My family gets together on Christmas Eve. On Christmas day, I will be relaxing at home, alone (except for the other hermits I find online ;) ).

Have a Merry Christmas, no matter how you choose to spend it. =)

Yup as my family is about 1500 miles away and my friends are in Cabo for Christmas and I am house sitting for them. It will be just another ordinary day for me. Not a big deal though as I celebrated Christmas at Thanksgiving time.

Yes, don't feel bad. I'm active duty military officer stationed in Crete, Greece. I have two kids in the states and I'm unable to be with them this season. So I definitely understand how you're feeling... I'll spend my day drinking coffee watching Armed Forces TV and surfing the 'net!

Me... Some members of my family said they would come in the morning of the25th but I believe they would be too busy and tired by then because of the previous night's media noche activities. It would be just fine with me because I am a hermit anyway. Living solitary is my way of life and I feel more at home and comfortable with it.
