I have realised in the past few years after converting to aethiesm that I have copped alot of criticism. Such as on a forum I was looking at said "My definition of Aethiesm is Some know-it-all teenager who pretends to hate religion, but celebrates Christmas because s/he is a greedy hypocrite"

Not on! Howcome, religious people are allowed to criticise us, but when we criticise them, it's wrong!

My definition of Aethiesm is Some know-it-all teenager who pretends to hate religion, but celebrates Christmas because s/he is a greedy hypocrite" <-- That comment is pretty much calling us fakers, but then some full-on religious people believe that god made the world and then ALSO believed in the big bang-- One of them must be true.. You can't believe both! They reckon we're stupid for not believing and then they go and make a fool out of themselves by believing 2 things at once.

I got in an accident and when the CHP showed up my girlfriend said she was the driver. Shes been in jail for 3 weeks and a very high bail beacuse she was charged with a felony DUI. I was actually driving but i didnt want my insurance to go up any higher then it already was. I had no idea that my girlfriend had been drinking that much. After she got arrested i tried to tell them i was the driver and they ignored me. Can i fight this in court and win?

i want to know how to get over the night terrors and the anxiety and the fear... on my own with out some stupid pill that would numb me or some therapy where we just talk about how much it sucked to be me when i was little. i want to move on.. i need to learn healthy coping skills and how to deal with anger and frustration and fear, please help.

I went for an ultrasound and the doctor said that she cannot find the heartbeat on the 6week baby. The doctor says I might be having a miscarriage. The doctor told me to come back next week for another ultrasound to see if there is any new development on the baby. If the the baby remains the same, they want to remove it...

Is it still too early to find the heartbeat?
Are my chances of a miscarriage very high?
Has anyone experienced this problem before?

I'm a bit worried, because this is my first baby and I was looking forward to it.

I am a veteran. I was in Bosnia, Kuait and south of the border in the Central Americas. I was part of a specialized combat MOS for the Army. I served for more than 11 years and have seen alot of things that were contrarry to my personal beliefs. I served my country with honor and sacrificed much in the name of duty and freedom. Now we live in a political climate that seems to border a dictatorship rather than a democracy. Our right to bare arms is close to extinction and our freedom of speech is now in question. Politicians run rampant with corruption with no merit or accountability. As citizens of this once great nation it is our responsibility to stand against the tyrants who would have us kill ourselves for the sake of making a profit. Many civillians would dissagre on the basis of what the modern media bombards them with. I would hope their eyes are not blinded with old tricks. But this question must be asked of all of us who love what our country once stood for.

Isn't he suppose to get arrested?

several hundred miles away to give to someone else. He called me and asked me if it was "OK" to give it away. Then he said I was "over-reacting" when I got upset about it, telling him he should never have taken it. He is living in my house rent free. He talks me down when I try to reason with him. you see there is a pond and then the water goes though a colvert. the culvert leads to a creek.
i want to clear out the logs and such in the somewhat dried creek and make a dam in the middle of it so me and my friends can swim there. there is a camping spot and i want to get the water ready before summer. how do i make a dam? how do i get the logs out. one just hit me today and i dont want that to happen again.[this creek is completely on our property so dont bring up law stuff]
