Occasionally, when I open the lid of my Inspiron 8500, the resolution has dropped to 800x600. Sometimes it will quickly change itself back, but other times it just stays that way. I have an ATI mobility radeon 9000 video card and I've tried updating the drivers. I've also read about other ppl fixing this problem by changing 'LidBehavior' keys in the registry, but I think this only works with Nvidia cards, b/c there are no such keys in my registry. Any ideas?

my partner has been calling and texting another woman 24/7, I found out about this on our itemised phone bill. He denied he was cheating and said I jumped into conclusions. This woman is married and I know the husband[didnt know them before], should I show the husband the bill and see if he is not going to think like me.

I have had my cat 3 weeks. In that time she has been sick twice and once she sarted wheezing. Someone aid the wheezing was probably just due to a furball.

But I don't know why he would lie about it.

He claims they have been together for a tad over a month. He and I split up 2 months ago. He said it is something that he never expected....and he never expected to ever date her. Apparently she is someone that he has known for a very long time, and that she called him up one day out of the blue and asked him to dinner. He went as a friend, and then she told him how much she has cared about him over all the years...and now they are together. I asked if he is in love and he said "Honestly, yea. It is relaly weird how it worked out. It's long and complicated, I will tell you about it some other time"

He then went on to tell me that I can call him anytime I want to, email him anytime I want to. I told him that is not a good idea since he has a girlfrend, and he said "sure you can. we are always going to be a part of eachothers life."

if he is so in love, why is he stringing me along. He knows I love him still. Does he have a gf or not?

Ridiculous, or fascinating? Why and why not?

Oh, and in my Bible it says thou shall not kill. Nothing about, thou shall not murder. That sounds suspiciously human of the Bible.

Oh, and last but not my least favorite question. If Jesus was born to die for our sins, why and I did Jesus say and I quote, "father, forgive them for they know not what they do"?
Isn't that odd, and ironic for thy divine lord, to call his people ignorant fools while being crucified?

Anyways, don't try to understand me, I'm a walking contradiction and very unintelligible. LoL, if you think I just called myself an idiot.

lol. whenever i yell, like when im fighting with my parents or my sisters, or waching a movie, and yelling at teh tv, or even just playing around and yelling, i rly dont yell too often, but when i do my cat meows realy loud and runs to me and rubs against me. do all cats do this? lol, i luv my cat soooo much. she follows me everywhere, sleeps ontop of me, ive had her since she was a baby. oh yah, also my moms deaf so somtimes i have to talk loudly, lol.

I recently bought a house and it has a satellite dish already installed. I dont have a subscription to satellite nor do I intend on getting one, as I don't watch much TV.
I was told that I can get a FTA box and hook it up to the dish that is already in place, and pick up satellite signals that way, without paying a subscription charge.
Will this work? Is there a certain type of box that I need to get (I live in Canada)? Do I need one for each TV in the house, or can I run cable from one box to multiple TVs? And will I have to reset something in it once in a while (get a new card or something) or will it just... work? I have a custom media-center type computer, so is it possible to hook up the signal to my PC?

I really don't know anything about satellite TV, so any help I can get is much appreciated.

This goes beyond one particular belief although this question comes from something I have just read in my local paper which is The Hartford Courant. A Hartford Church had its nativity display vandalized last night where someone smashed the faces of every porcelain figure in it. There have been instances where Wiccan wreaths in other states have been damaged. Even locally, in my neighborhood, people have had their lawn displays wrecked - and for what purpose? This is not how one shows love and respect towards their fellow human being.
