I'm a teen (14) and I'd be happy to answer any of your questions! Just ask them. If you just ask a question on here and specify that you want teens answering it, you would probably recieve lots of advice. Good Luck!

Yes... it would be better to get some more information.

The majority of the parents who have problem teens on these forums are the parents who have attempted to be "friends" with their kids, instead of taking the point as "parents". A parent is an authority figure, someone to give guidance and discipline, and an ally in the bigger world, but can never be a kid's friend.

You must use every method at your disposal to instill the values in your children that will help them to be successful in life. They cannot navigate our society without morals, ethics, responsibility and respect.

The parents who leave the parenting to the school system and the kids' peers, will indeed reap what they sow. They will spend more time hauling the kids to rehab clinics, bailing them out of jail, and probably supporting the little rats into their 30s.
