If the park is posted to clean up after your animals or no animals and she ignored the signs and used poor judgment and did not have sense enough to pick up the dodo yes she should be held accountable. I am sure it was a misdemeanor and the criminal record will show it as such. And Yes if she applies for a job and the application asks have you ever been convicted of a MISDEMEANOR she will have to say yes and divulge the info, Most job aps only ask about Felony convictions but if she gets stopped for speeding and an officer asks her if she has ever been arrested she will have to fess up to the misdemeanor because it will show if they run her thru the system.
Personally if it were up to me they would finger print LITTER and hold people accountable for that also. It is disgusting what other people think they can just toss or leave lying around improperly disposed of. If she took her child to the park and she turned her back for a second and turned back to see the child sitting in the pile of dodo or worse tasting the dodo she would be suing the parks system.....
For all of you who must go ahead and give me a thumbs down, I will be able to see how make litterbugs and irresponsible pet owners who are on answers today....

She has a simple misdemeanor on her record. Everybody, or just about, has a driving record. Most people get picked up for speeding or some other mild infringment. This is also considered your "rap sheet". Everybody has something on his so called "criminal record". It doesn't become serious unless you start racking up felonies or murders.

You live in the UK right !!

That's a good example of how screwed up the present government is. She's an easy target.

No, dog poo is hardly a criminal offense. That's beyond ridiculous.

A fine I can see...but not a record. *shakes head*

I pull criminal reports all day long for my job, and you would be amazed at what we find. It wouldn't surprise me that they'd put that on there.

Your dog, their poop, pick it up. I think inconsiderate people that do not pick up after their dogs should be fined 1000 bucks for each offense.
