I am going to a Big Brother/Big Sister party tonight, its to help spread the season joy to others. One station is to write a letter to a solider. I guess I am a little blank on what to say.

I know the typical Thank you and despite not being political or knowing much about the war, I support all the troops over there and had friends and family serve (some I don't know where they ended up and have lost contact with).

However, I want something more than just a thank you and Merry Christmas kind of deal. Any ideas?

So the divorce went through at the beginning of November. She called right away to let me know, and to get the ex's address, so she could send us copies of the paperwork. When it didn't show up after a week or so I called her and left a message asking what is up? Since then, I have left her about 10 voice mails, all polite yet questioning. Still no paperwork. The thing is that the ex doesn't even know that the divorce is final and I don't want to be the one to tell him. I want him to just get the paperwork, you know? I have already paid her, of course, but I really have had to micromanage her the whole way through.

for several days I have been getting slight discomfort in my upper torso about 4 in ches afrom my armpit when I move my left arm. There is no sign of any swellings etc.

1. Past addiction to Cocaine (23 years ago) but still has an addictive personality.
2. Recently (within the past 9 mo) addicted to frequenting Karaoke Bars. He loves to sing & drink.
3.He is still communicating with a woman he did booty calls with even when I asked him to stop.She lives hundreds of miles away right now.
4. Previously addicted to pornography(within the last year)
5. I found an email where he had been pimping himself on Craig's List to have sex with stange women before we met (a married one) & he did not tell me about it once we started our relationship.
6. Does NOT want to attend church AT ALL. I am thinking when I have a child I would like to attend church for the child.
7. He can't have sex with me & get satisfied unless he has constant serious sexual visual stimulation (i.e all the lights on & mirrors). I am sure this has to do with his past porn addiction. He can't just feel it. He has to see EVERYTHING. Sometimes I feel like he wants the porn shot & not me. ?

The higher the altitude, the cooler the climate. As we fly above 30 thousand feet, we are nearer to sun by 30 thousand feet. The earth is scotched with Sun's heat. But the same sun is note effective in scotching the flight even though it goes near the Sun. The Rocket should melt, but does not. The mountains which are nearer to sun by a few thousand feet, but they are cool. Why this contoversy ?

I am 23 years old, the oldest of my mothers three children. I have two younger brothers, one 22 who lives on his own, and another who is 18 and not yet out of highschool. My brother seems to have gotten mixed in with the wrong crowd, and I know he is doing drugs. I have spoken to my mother and him both about this because I am real worried that he could get into trouble, and I was basically told to mind my own business. So I did!
Christmas is coming though, and my mom doesn’t have a lot of money so I have been doing little things to help. On Saturday I put up a Christmas tree. Then last night my mom called and said she slipped and fell down the steps in her house and hurt herself. Thinking I was being a good daughter, I called my brother, the 18 year old and asked him if he would be able to salt the stairs so my mom wouldn’t fall again, but he said he can’t. He also said he was leaving so don’t come over. I figured since he would be gone, it would be safe to come over and put salt down for my mom. I also planned to drop off some baking supplies because I planned to bake cookies for my family at my moms (my apartment does not have a stove).
So, I went over my moms, and of course the door was locked, my brother NEVER EVER locks the door, but he did this time because he knew I was coming. So I ring the door bell and I see him out of the corner of my eye peaking out to see who it was, and then ran away. I kept knocking hoping my mom would answer and she eventually did.
When my mom let me in, my brother comes out of his room screaming and yelling and jumping in my face telling me I am stupid for coming over and that I needed to get out. My mom just sits there asking him to stop. After like an hour of this I start crying and he walks away. My mom says “it’s not my fault he is like that” so I told her, that she is the mother and she has the obligation to maintain order in her home, and if this is what Christmas is going to be like, then I won’t be there. I took all my cooking things and walked out.
I spent five minutes sitting in the car crying, then called my mom and told her that after that episode I am done with the family, and have no problem reporting my brother’s drug problems to the police. I didn’t call the police and probably won’t but right now I am so upset and it’s Christmas and I don’t want to be alone on Christmas, what can I do to solve the problem?
