I cant see it coming anytime soon if ever there are a number of reasons for this both religious, economic and government wise. I will say for now because of everything going on in the US are money is losing its respect around the world. I had to do a double take when are money was equal almost less then candian money

The quick answer is that in the short term, NO, over the long term, yes if the talked about global recession does not take effect in the USA/ rest of the world. However with banks losing money on subprime and a threatened $400 Billion total bank loss in the world, the USA dollar will find new trading ground that is going to be low against the Euro and sterling.
