Why didn't they learn to fly in another country?

Did they feel confident that Clinton was too incompetent to catch them even in the US?

Why did the Bush Administration throw out the report President Clinton left on the seriousness of Al Qaeda as a threat to this Country? The Bush Administration completely ignored everyone who said Al Qaeda was a threat and acted surprised when we were attacked. I'm not saying President Clinton did everything he should have to prevent the attacks that occurred but he at least recognized there was a threat. President Bush was told again and again prior to the 9/11 attacks that Al Qaeda was trying to commit a terrorist attack on our soil and yet he did absolutely nothing. So before you start trying to pin the blame on President Clinton make sure you recognize that it was Bush that was leading this Country when the attacks took place and it Bush who had plenty of warning.

The 9-11 terrorist pilots hijacked and flew those planes into the WTC and Pentagon while GW Bush was pretending to be a President who cared about America but instead was obsessed with Iraq and determined to help the Iraqi people rather than watch out for Americans. Clinton never got a memo from the CIA saying "Al queda determined to train terrorists how to fly planes in America so they can hijack airliners and fly them into buildings"... GW Bush on the other hand did get a memo saying "Bin Laden determined to strike in America"... a memo he tossed into the trash because the name SADDAM was not attached to it.

From what I understand there was a lot of restrictions (back in the days of Bush SR. and early Clinton) on passports, visas, and such. There were so many complaints from friendly countries that Clinton eased up the standards a little bit allowing for more people to enter the US without going through all the rigmarole.

Also, I am pretty sure that to fly in the US they had to get their pilots license in the US as well. <- I don't know this for sure, but it would only make sense.

Weren't they still learning to fly and forming their plan while Bush was in office? Of course they were. And they attacked while Bush was President, imagine that. Do I really think they give a damn which President was in power while they were planning all this? Of course not, but then I'm a fairly reasonable person.

I don't know...

Why did they attack while Bush was president? Is it because they knew that he is incompetent?

Why did the FBI under Clinton manage to capture, prosecute, convict and jail the masterminds of the first WTC bombing?

Finally, where is Bin Laden?

The '90s were truly a golden age for Islamists; from the Taliban organizing in Afghanistan to Al-Queda operatives setting up within our borders.

And why didn't the greedy instructors who took their money not become suspicious and report them when all they wanted to learn how to do was take off and not land??? You insinuate that Clinton should have personally went out and caught these people. Clinton put together the Anti-terorrism task force after the Oklahoma City incident - which i suppose he was responsible for also. Let's not forget that it was during the Reagan era that the airline industries was 'de-regulated'.
