Is there a need to sentance a criminal to death for a crime they may or may not have committed? I don't see how sentancing someone to death for a crime they may or may not have committed can make things better for the victims. I can't see how it could be used as a deterrent for criminals.

On the positive side of things, I suppose it could be argued that it frees up prison cells.

With pressure groups in the western world becoming forever bigger and stronger, it must be nearly over for the death penalty in what remaining states still use it.

I am not limiting this question to simply those mentioned in the Bible, or an expression in terms of any particular religion; think more broad-minded than that. Do you have any gifts of connecting to others in a manner which might be described as "spiritual"? Do you articulate better on the field of the heart versus the field of mind and word? Can you minister to others in ways that cannot be accurately expressed, yet are very real---a spiritual communication?

If you can relate to such things, how do you define them? Is it empathy? Is it being in accord with soul to such extent as to help lift another's burdens off of their shoulders? I definitely feel there are those who have an intrinsic presence, a capability that is ill-defined, yet palpable; they minister to spirit and soul, and without even seeming to try.

Can such empathic/spiritual ability be acquired, and how so? Do you feel conversant with your fellow man in matters of spirit, and is this ministering to the same?

Ok so me and my boyfriend have been going out for a couple of weeks and whenever we talk like through text messages or on our cells, i always have to start the conversations. so for all of you that use paypal to buy stuff off ebay.. i have about $50 on my paypal and im planning to buy something off of ebay for about 90 and im wondering since i only have $30 in my bank account ..

We've been divorced for 2 yrs now. I live about 5 hrs away. He only pays $200 a month for child support and thinks this is too much acutally he feels he dosen't need to pay ANY! I love my daughter and wishes things were different. I can't change him but I want to change this situation. He never calls her. I make the effort to have him in her life. I really think he can't move on and uses our daughter out of angry towards me. I need legal advice or help to move on. I'm afraid of him because he's tried to take her away from. Two separate times where I was suppose to pick her up and he didn't want to give her back to me. I had to call the cops. I read my daughter books at night, ballet and swimming lessons. I try my best to a good mom and even though her dad is the best I try to make an effort but in the end results he just gets mads and its a bad cycle . I need it to stop. Helpful advice. Legal advice. Please! thank you

Ok I have been renting a house form a realty company. the other day i recived a letter on my door from a company called marken ventures (they have a web site) with a copy of a deed saying he is the owner of the home and i need to pay him rent from now on. I looked it up on our county web site and he is legal owner of the home. I called my landlord and they say i need to continue paying them. I called back the other guy and he says i need to pay him. I am so lost and do not know what to do . My realty company says he can not evict me cause i have a lease with them. The owner says he can evict me cause he is the owner of the home. The realty company says if i do not pay them i will be taken to court for not going by the lease. What do i do any help anyone any advice . I dont have money to get a lawyer to ask questions. Rent of course is comming up and I really dont know what to do .
