Sure. About 4 miles from my house is the dividing line between Eastern Time Zone and Central Time Zone. If I walk across that line, I instantly walk to an hour earlier.

no! its not and it wont be ever!! OK! how do you define time?
its alot more abstract than just a couple of sentences right? every one might have his own definition of it. so i would say letting events happen means time. cuz without time its like talking about a 2 dimensional figure in the real world(not just on a paper) can u perceive a rectangle without one of its dimension, e.g. depth or height??? it'd be none sense!! right??
so even if it was possible going back in the time, the event required passage of time itself .: its not possible at all.
u probably have heard that if u could travel around the earth faster than the earth itself then u will be going slower in time=comparing to the time on earth u'll be in future time, but these are all hypothesis and aren't proven yet+its all relative and doesn't mean it actually can happen.

I've actually flown backwards in time. I left Manila at 8:00 pm on a Tuesday, and arrived in San Francisco at 6:00 pm the same Tuesday!

Other than that, not that I know of. Maybe some day...

In a manner of speaking. "Back To the Future" type, time travel, no. But you can stand at a time zone "Mountain and Pacific time zone boundary" for example, and move back and forth 1 hour. But that is being very, very, technical.

I take a step out of my office and instantly walk into a different, and much better time... lunch time... break time... play time... vacation time.

So I guess it is possible.

:-)

Yes, if you meet an astronaut who has been in space for a long while, then you are meeting someone who has travelled into the future and is from the past.

Think what it was like to discover the dead sea scrolls--no person had set foot there in 2000 years!
