Trying to understand easily the difference between a posted intrest rate and an APY when it comes to a high yeild savings account or money market account. Does the same intrest rate always yield the same APY? Does a 5% intrest rate always give you a 5.11% APY or does it vary depending on if its calculated daily.................a little lost here.
Thanks!
Brett

Hi all,

I'm thinking about buying a wedding dress from ebay. Has anybody had experience with such? And if so, positive or negative?

Can anyone tell me what taxes ACTUALLY pay for our education, roads, conservation of environment, and protection. Also is there direct evidence of what (or who), exactly, the income tax actually goes to?

Computer-controlled display screens provide drivers in the Indianapolis 500 with a variety of information about how their cars are performing. For instance, as a car goes through a turn, a speed of 205 mph and a centripetal acceleration of 3.7g (3.7 times the acceleration due to gravity) are displayed. Determine the radius of the turn (in meters).

Think about it. Judas was an apostle. He ate with them, drank with them, traveled and slept next to them. He talked the talk and apparently walked the walk enough so that NONE of the other apostles suspected him. He was a false prophet, a wolf, a deceiver, and yet he tricked the greatest Christians on Earth.
(He did not, however, deceive Christ.)

Could you have spotted this wolf in lamb's clothing? What does this say about false Christians among us today?

I have moved to my new apartment and my previous landlord is charging me for the cooking smell in the apartment and saying that they need to paint the whole apartment but it was new renovated apartment and they said that paint life is three year and we were their for 1year 6month and we are vegitarian (means no egg and no meat). According to California law do i have any right to argue with them for paint charges or regarding cooking smell charges. Can i sue them for this.

1)Calculate the force of gravity between a human adult (mass = 88 kg) and the planet Mars (mass = 6.4 *10^23 kg), when Mars is at its closest to Earth (distance = 8 *10^10 m).

2)Calculate the force of gravity on a 10 kg mass at Earth's surface. The mass of Earth is 6*10^24 kg, and its radius is 6.4 *10^6 m.

3)Calculate the force of gravity on a 19 kg mass if it were 6.4* 10^6 m above Earth's surface (that is, if it were 2 Earth radii from Earth's Center.) The mass of Earth is 6 *10^24 kg.

4)Calculate the force of gravity between a newborn baby of mass 4 kg and the obstetrician of mass 70 kg, who is 0.2 m from the baby.
