I am Pro Life as I could never kill my unborn child for the sake of convenience.
If I had ended up in a situation as to of found myself pregnant as a teen, I would have made the decision to give the child up for adoption, as there are so many childless couples who would be thrilled to adopt. Pregnancy is only one of the consequences of having sex, if you don't want to have a child.. either abstain or have the common sense to use birth control.

As a God fearing man I would say pro choice - The FIRST FOUR. Abstinence, the pill, condom or diaphragm. Taking the
life of a baby should not be an option. By the way, life begins
with the father, not the mother. Dead fish don't swim. That is
only the basses for my reasoning. Very good question. Hope
that helps.

Even with all the options out there, adoption, help from family...and abortion, we still have terrible parents doing terrible jobs raising their kids. There are kids not old enough to vote for leaders who are pro life or pro choice having kids. They often end up in an overwhelmed and underfunded social safety net system. We don't really need a whole lot more of this. Perhaps the paradigm should be revisited. There are thousands of people out there who would do anything to be a parent, but can't have children. Maybe under-aged kids, who society doesn't even deem responsible enough to vote, should also be deemed as not responsible to raise another human being.

Pro Life, unless the child has a such a terrible condition that it would have a very poor quality of life.
I think the Pro Choice crowd are merely using "choice" as a convenient way to abort responsibility.

I don't believe in abortions but i also don't believe the gov't should have the right to say what a woman can choose to do in that situation.
I would never terminate a life but I would also never hand over such a powerul authority to the government.
"Here's some more power, government. Now protect me."
I don't think so.

Pro-life. We shouldn't have the right to decide who gets to live or die. Abortion kills an innocent living human being. (Yes, I know it - it's a mass of cells - just like all of us!) I know many, many couples yearning to adopt a baby, but because of abortion there aren't very many out there.
EDIT: TO KRIS W. I know there are thousands of babies in orphanages in other countries, I have given financial support to several of these. I know about 1/2 dozen couples who have adopted from these orphanages as well. The problem is that it isn't easy to adopt from those other countries nor is it affordable.

I am Pro Life with all the birth control out there I don't think there is any excuse for not using them. However if the woman's life is at stake or in case of rape this is a different circumstance.

mostly pro-life. if they didn't want the baby, then they shouldve wrapped up. what abortion is doing is killing babies who can be future world leaders, firemen, teachers, scientists, doctors, etc. also, there are always orphanages, where they will always be taken care of. (and if theyre not, we should help fundraise for them)
the only thing is, if it is a life or death situation, then a mother should choose whether she wants to live or the baby should live. that's the only time where abortion should come to play.

i believe abortion is murder because fetuses have heartbeats, therefore are alive in the womb. i'm pro-life, but i don't believe there should be an anti-abortion amendment in the constitution. there's no anti-murder amendment. i think that there should be laws punishing people who have and perform abortions unless it can be proven that the woman or the child were in grave danger or she was raped. at the same time, i believe that assisted suicide for terminally ill people should be legalized.

I remember the days of the back alley butchers; when abortion was illegal, desperate women who did not have the money to fly to a foreign country to get an abortion, would find the back alley butchers, to the peril of both mother and baby. While abortion would not be my choice, it is not my place to make personal decisions for other people. A woman might seek an abortion because of medical reasons, that her life might be at risk if she has another child - with 2 more at home, it may be a woman was raped and she chooses not to keep the rapists child. Making abortion illegal will not stop abortions; wealthy women who oppose abortion in public, will still be able to fly to another country to get one. And for those who can't, we will see the return of the back alley butchers, performing abortions for a small fee.
