I understand the effects of marijuana while you're high. I want know if there are effects that persist even while you aren't high. For example, if one were a habitual smoker, say once a day, is there any chance that you even when you aren't high you lose social skills, your thinking process is abnormal, it's easier to get depressed, physical problems, so forth.

i have a low clearance (6'-6") and a stacked stone foundation. I want to frame out walls and paint the exposed underside of the above floor and floor joists. Anybody ever do this or have any good tips to help. Obviously it needs to be as moisture reisitant as possible, but there have not been any significant water problems in the basement.

Any suggestions? I can't really go outside and use the hairdryer on the line(my dad's suggestion), b/c I can't leave my 2 yr old in the house alone, which is sick with ear infections. What can I do from inside the house?

abit of a dirty Q. but its one relevant to modern life. every young person asks; 'who do you want to marry,'or 'who do you want to date?'

I reckon Arthur has a good chance with Franscine, and even so with Muffy - "the monkey", Prunella, maybe not. he's certainly not gay, but i've just forgoten a large section of the female cast!

i sick friend of mine sugested Arthur try it on with his sister, DW, or even his mother!

what do you think guys? i want everyone's opinoin.

My 9 year old sister has a computer in her room, when she first got it, it worked perfectly. But then after a few months the computer started to become the slowest piece of machinery ever. You have to wait half an hour after turning the computer on for everything to load, you have to wait at 30 seconds for anything you clicked to work. And she hardly has anything downloaded do the space is not the problem. Does anyone know how to fix this other then re installing windows??

I started workin at this new nightclub about a few weeks ago the first week the doorman kept touching me and saying all this stuff such as 'are you easy in bed', i was really upset last week and a work mate had to tell my boss as he knew something was up. They said they had seen him do it to other girls to and they are going to get rid of him and hes never coming back, they said they wernt goin to tell anybody, especially him for my saftey, i turned up work on saturday night to see him at the doors, my boss just said whats up with your face, as if nothin had happend wen i told him he just said oh i thought i got rid of him hel b gone 2morow. Saturday night he spoke 2 me sayin the blokes really sorry n hes admitted it n he didnt mean it n that he wants 2 apololgise but hes 2 scared, i wa realy upset thy told him this, not just him but everybody else on the door and now hes allowed to stay on the doors, n iv been forced out, r they in the wrong? or should they b really gettin rid of him?

Can anyone explain to me (without being condescending) why some Christians think they can define what being Christian is? I have always thought a Christian is someone who believes Christ is the one and only path to salvation, yet I have heard these people claim groups that believe this way don't classify as Christian.

I try to do a lot of things right, but some of my shortcomings include a) taking 15-minute showers and b) driving around in my (fuel-efficient!) car just to get my baby to sleep. I hope to change both of these habits from now on.

What are your shortcomings?

I just dont know what to do. After a great 3 yr relationship. to which my children 16 & 5 (from ex husband of 20 yrs) adore my boyfriend. I have cried my eyes out all weekend. Just being told he wont ever marry... He was going to propse after a year, but seeing as i had only been divorced a year, i thought it was too soon. and told him I wasnt going anywhere. To lets just wait alittle longer. and now he wont marry me. He says hes afraid now. Now I dont know what to do. He loves me and my daughters, but now he wants to end it. completly. I really need advise as im crushed. I know that my children will be very upset. and i love this man with all my heart. Does anyone have any advise. as i dont want to loose him. He doesnt think hed make a good father. wow... just telling me that now is devastating

Hi, this Christmas I know my parents don't have much money so I wasn't expecting much for Christmas - last year I got a Harry Potter soundtrack CD and I was absolutely thrilled with it! Anyway, they surprised me with new tires for my car awhile back which was awesome because I really needed them, and that's not cheap! Anyway, I know they got my brother a PS3 among other things, my grandparents got a 20.1 inch LCD monitor, and they got my boyfriend a $50 rechargable wireless mouse for his computer along with some shirts for work (we live together), and I jokingly asked what he ordered me online (he had to order the mouse & monitor). He said he didn't have to order it he already bought it, I'd love it, and he got me lots of other stuff too!
I kept trying to tell them I was happy, I didn't need anything (I knew they'd get me SOMETHING though) and the tires were more than enough. Now I have lots more, and it'd be rude and hurtful to say "I don't want it". But I feel bad! What to do???

after i replaced my brakes the first time the brake light indicator went off and my brakes were fine until about two months afterward. the brake light indicator came on and maybe two weeks after the brakes now feel as if they are completely gone?

in short...what happened was I went to the CEO and brought my concerns about my boss to her attention. the CEO then spoke to my boss about my concerns (since my boss' carelessness has now jeopardized funding for my program)...after her meeting with the CEO she has been isolating me and very short with me....yesterday I overheard her "venting" to the Director of Grants about me...I thought that was considered defamation since there is no reason for the Director of Grants to know...but I'm not sure.

I'm currently reading a book called "Apocalypse 2012" and it's a scientific approach to the Mayan end times (12/21/2012 11:11PM). I’ve always had a fascination with post-apocalyptic survival scenarios. How do you feel about the end times? Of course, 2012 is regarded as sort of a rebirth, or new age. But with the coming of a new age there is much death.
