I have windows vista, and I'm not happy with it, and I want to reinstall my xp. When I put the disk it tells me that I have a new version of windows, and cannot continue. Is there anyway around this? Got I format vista, and if I can. How do I do this?

I'm realize that I'm probably being picky, but I hate it whan an announcer says, "He's down on the one foot line."
There is no one foot LINE. The lines are a yard apart. There are only YARD lines.
The runner can be down one foot from the goalline, but there is no line for him to be down on.

They claim to help anyone who needs a cash loan whether bad credit, low income, or job status. they also have a $35.00 processing fee. I am pretty much at my wits end in finding a company to loan to me b/c of my bad credit, so i sent in the application w/the fee. now i'm second guessing my actions. so has anyone else dealt with them, if so, what was the outcome?

Or is it simply OUR culture has changed so drastically over the past 25 years or so?

By this I refer to women more in the workforce than at home. Men taking on more roles as caregivers of children etc. Many other countries still have our beliefs and roles of years past still in force. So could the differences we see be just changing times of our society and theirs staying the same?

Do you accept the Seventh-day Adventist interpretation which views it as the Seventh-day Sabbath?

The view held by Seventh-day Sabbathkeeping churches, including Seventh-day Adventists, maintains that the Lord's day of Revelation 1:10 designates the seventh-day Sabbath. This conclusion is based on the fact that Christ declared himself to be "Lord even of the Sabbath"(Mark 2:28).

Historically, Seventh-day Adventists have interpreted the "Lord's day" of Revelation 1:10 as a reference to the Seventh-day Sabbath which is Saturday and not Sunday. Sunday is the first day of the week.

The Lord's day is the Seventh-day, the Sabbath of Creation. The Sabbath was observed by Jesus Christ. The Sabbath was as sacredly observed by John on Patmos as when he was preaching to the people in the towns and cities of Judea.

Sunday observance did not begin until A.D. 117-138), under Emperor Hadrian. The Sabbath is the Lord's Day. The Sabbath was all John knew when he wrote Revelation.

He's 15 months and a super-good kid. But, there are a couple areas in the house, a couple of things he does that are just not okay (like pulling the cord for the tv out of the wall). We tell him "no", smack his hand and take him away from the area to get him interested in something else. He laughs and starts walking back to the area while I'm still standing right there.

We've very rarely had to say no to him because he's such a good boy... does he just not understand? He seems to think it's a game, it's fun.

But it's obviously a safety hazard. I don't want to just put a piece of furniture or something in front of the area... that's not going to teach him no, that's just going to hide the problem. Then when we go to grandma's house or somewhere else he still won't realize that playing with cords is not okay.

Any suggestions?

You might not have known this, but a lot of non-living objects are actually either male or female. Here are some examples:

FREEZER BAGS: They are male, because they hold everything in, but you can see right through them.

PHOTOCOPIERS: These are female, because once turned off; it takes a while to warm them up again.

They are an effective reproductive device if the right buttons are pushed, but can also wreak havoc if you push the wrong Buttons.

TIRES: Tires are male, because they go bald easily and are often over inflated

HOT AIR BALLOONS: Also a male object, because to get them to go anywhere, you have to light a fire under their butt.

SPONGES: These are female, because they are soft, squeezable and retain water.

WEB PAGES:
Female, because they're constantly being looked at and frequently getting hit on.

TRAINS: Definitely male, because they always use the same old lines for picking up people.

EGG TIMERS: Egg timers are female because, over time, all the weight shifts to the bottom.

HAMMERS: Male, because in the last 5000 years, they've hardly changed at all, and are occasionally handy to have around.

THE REMOTE CONTROL: Female. Ha! You probably thought it would be male, but consider this: It easily gives a man pleasure, he'd be lost without it, and while he doesn't always know which buttons to push, he just keeps trying

I could also use a layman's definition. My grandparents are 77 and 75. They have a fixed retirement income from government pension. They have a house worth about 130k and owe about 90k on it. They have trouble getting by. Please give suggestions.

My laptop is dying, and it's really getting on my nerves. Because copying&pasting can take up to half an hour. Switching windows can take me 10 minutes. Playing a video would lag the entire thing, so only the audio would come out but the video wouldn't play. Joy. Bliss.

My laptop's four years old. Maybe older. Is it time to prepare it's funeral?

The joints in my hand/fingers in one hand hurt so badly. It has been about 3 months. I keep thinking/hoping that it's just due to the weather changes, but I think it really may be arthritis. I can hardly hold my coffee in the mornings and changing the babies' diapers is such a hard task. I'm only 25. It is very sad to me because I am a pianist. Is it possible and if so, what is the treatment? Thanks.

For all you atheists i don't understand. how can you live life thinking there is nothing to look forward to? that there is no hope for after this life ends. this puzzles me to no end. i know that it would be impossilbe to not believe in a god who loves us. and how do you not believe in anything, that in and of itself is a belief.

Just saw on espn where they projected the Falcons to draft Matt Ryan. With Derek Anderson establishing himself in Cleveland Quinn could be available. Browns need defensive help and Falcons need a qb it's a trade that could help both teams.
