Good point, it does not. YHVH will have the last word, however, and many people will not be happy.

It doesn't. But I can honestly say that the King James Version is the only version to preserve God's word. All the others base their translation off of text that was full of corrupt errors. The translators of the NIV versions didn't even believe in the deity of Jesus Christ. How can you translate a Bible if you don't believe in it's message?

I can turn the question back to you: If you believe that God is going to preserve His word, why so many translations out there? Why didn't the 1611 edition with minor spelling changes just stay instead of having the 50 different versions we have today? What changed?

Whatever, it's truth will last forever, as seen here:

Isaiah 40:8 (New International Version)

8 The grass withers and the flowers fall,
but the word of our God stands forever."

It does not say that. That is an "Independent" Baptist doctrine.

God said that-(paraphrase). "...heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away..."

It does not say I will preserve my word in the KJV.

Independent Baptist are really good people, and serious soul winning Christians. They are true blue-but, they have a couple of doctrines that fall short of God's intention.

It doesn't. And no one ever said is was. It will be perserved in all languages.

The eyes of the Lord preserve knowledge, and he overthroweth the words of the transgressor.
