You are not over reacting. now days with this world you never know what could happen and you have every right to be worried and try to protect yourself. Do what you need to do I would check into harrasment charges on your own if your boss wont do anything.

OK what exactly do you do in the nightclub?

Whatever it is, the doorman is your working colleague - he needs to keep it professional only - as in no touchy-feely and no "come-on lines" like the "easy in bed" trash.

Yes, the doorman is in the wrong. AND so is the night club for keeping him on as doorman.

However, it's a lot easier to find waitresses, bartenders and dancers - than it is to find an effective bouncer/doorman.

So that's probably why you were let go.

You could take the whole thing to court - but it will cost you $$ to try to prove it.

So how about going to school, get your certification in something where you earn better $$ and work with a better class of people?

You may have to give up the "party girl" life - but hey, you'll live longer and healthier for it.

I'd say that guy should have been history from the first time he even said something to you or anyone else!!! If it's at all possible, try to find another job, your boss seems like he's covering up and is just a lazy a$$!! Do they want you or someone else to be hurt or dead first??

Get out while you can, if you can.

Good Luck

Yes they are in the wrong that is sexual harassment and you are not no piece of meat, or should be a victim to a man who feels that it is ok to say sexual comments to you anytime he wants. Your feelings should be taken into consideration and since you spoke to the boss and he assured you they knew he's done it to other girls and he was being asked to leave, yes they are just as guilty. I say find someone you can talk to about it and report it to and document your conversation with the boss as well as what your remark was to this dirty dog and take the next steps if you allow him to get away with it it will never stop, question being whose his next victim!

i think if you were told there were other girls he'd done that to, you should find out who the girls are and if they'd all be willing to sue the guy for harassment & the nightclub for not attending to the issue.
