I am a single, straight, successful, educated, 28 year old male. I have never had a girlfriend and I have only gone on three dates in my entire lifetime. I haven't even experienced my first kiss yet, lol. I have no problem with this as I am not a very affectionate person and I don't have the need for it that most people have. If I find someone to love I'll go for it I suppose, but it doesn't really matter. I also still live at home rent free, nice right? My question is as follows: Why do my friends "The Guys" coworkers and even some family members seem to have more of a problem with my life than I do? They say it's not healthy not to date and/or have no experience with love along with still living at home. I told them it's not an objective of mine. There were even some friends asking if I were gay! Lol, geez is everyone automatically labeled gay if they aren't over-sexed? I am attracted to females and females only, but I can resist the "temptation" very easily.What are your thoughts?

I just finished my first semester of graduate school. (MPA degree) I took 3 classes and I got an A, a B+, and a C+. These are good enough to keep me in the program but I feel like they're not stellar. I'm considering going on to get another Master's degree or a PhD after I graduate and I'm just wondering how my grades will compare to other applicants.

my brother went to jail because he didnt pass the polygraph test .someone stole his tv from his house,they think he did it.there is no insurance on it so he is still going to have to pay for it.is it legal to arrest someone for not passing the test,he chose to take.

My mom used to listen to radio. Since I share kitchen with others, yesterday, I used headphones while cooking. I also notice that workers in cafeteria's kitchen have headphones or listen all to radio.

We have a small motor home/RV parked in our driveway. At least two other families in our neighborhood have RV's on their property as well.

However one of our neighbors complained to the city that we should not be allowed to have it parked in view of the street because it is so big and it is only used on vacations which are not frequent.

We were told we had to move it by the city or face a fine. However one of the gentlemen from the city who gave us this info said that it was possible that there was a grandfather clause that might make it possible for us to keep the RV parked in the driveway.

a dividend check for $171.00 from one of his life insurance policies. The account I set up to close out his affairs was closed last year. It's made out to him directly. How can I get this cashed? I don't want to have a new check reissued, because then it would be issued to his trust, which no longer has any checking accounts associated with it. I'm at a loss as to what to do here.

I was with my first love for three years. We have been broken up for about two years, a year with absolutely no contact. He and I have both moved on and I do not want him back in any way but I can't help but think about him and wonder if he ever thinks about me.

A little after thanksgiving I asked my boyfriend what his X-mas plans he said he was doing nothing. So I invited him over to my for X-mas dinner @ my house and he agreed. Just recently, he told me that his mom said that his family was coming down from out of town and I suppose she was expecting him to be home X-mas. So recently someone asked him his X-mas plans ...he was like I am going home for X-mas forgetting that he had already committed to X-mas dinner w/ my family.

So when he told me this I became really upset...b/c how is he going make plans w/ me then 4-get... (1) Don't you think that he should stick w/ the plans of spending dinner w/ me? I mean am I wrong to want to spend the holidays w/ him. He was like his mom is going be mad. What about making me mad /upset b/c I will be?He just saw all his family on Thanksgiving.I am not saying that he cant be w/ him family...he can go be w/ his family over the weekend, X-mas eve and morning.he would still get to spend time w/ me.....

I am 17...from Colombia
This question is mostly seeks answers from English Speakers beacause you can easily hear spanish all over the United States. I am currently going to High school in New York and i recently get out of Esl program to be put in regular classes with Americans Kids, As i am still learning English i do not feel enterely confident about my english accent and i actually considerer i have Spanish accent as well.

This is a sister question to one that I just asked about Wiccans/Pagans and how they are treated.

I was thinking today about how there is a general perception that Christians are put upon by members of other religions and philosophies, in particular certain types of atheist.

As a result, I was wondering what the worst experience is that you have suffered, or have heard tell of, as a result of being Christian. Naming no names, of course, if it has to do with another Y!A user.
