I am a single, straight, successful, educated, 28 year old male. I have never had a girlfriend and I have only gone on three dates in my entire lifetime. I haven't even experienced my first kiss yet, lol. I have no problem with this as I am not a very affectionate person and I don't have the need for it that most people have. If I find someone to love I'll go for it I suppose, but it doesn't really matter. I also still live at home rent free, nice right? My question is as follows: Why do my friends "The Guys" coworkers and even some family members seem to have more of a problem with my life than I do? They say it's not healthy not to date and/or have no experience with love along with still living at home. I told them it's not an objective of mine. There were even some friends asking if I were gay! Lol, geez is everyone automatically labeled gay if they aren't over-sexed? I am attracted to females and females only, but I can resist the "temptation" very easily. What are your thoughts?

I suppose they are jealous, as that usually explains why people mock others or make nasty comments. They are likely jealous of my financial stability and freedom. What do you think?

Maybe thay want you to join the rest of the adult world. Someone who lives at home with Mom and Dad doesn't come across as financially stable and free. Sorry.

Inquiring as to whether you are gay or not would be most most people's response to your question. However, some people just are a little different from others. Two of my brothers were very much like you in the fact that they seemed to be asexual...like they were not interested in sex at all. But eventually they both found women that they were interested in and that changed for them. Honestly, what other people think should not matter. Maybe your friends should focus more on their own lives rather than judging yours. You have to live YOUR life so, if you are happy with it, they should be happy for you too. I actually think it is wise to stay rent free as long as you can....that way you have more time and money to save up for a house.

Your fine, but you may need to date just a bit, but dont jump in the bed. But what's important is that if your comfortable the way your living, then do stress about the others, cause your not gay, and you probley look at women when you want too, so it's all good, and what your doing is probley good, it means when you meet the "one" you wont be in a sex haze and you'll realize your feelings, the others, maybe there gay? lol, jk, good luck!

Wow you remind me of my boyfriend. We met just randomly and he seems like you, but he lived on his own since 19.
There is nothing wrong with you. Except, I think you should go out and date females that you think you are attracted, you'll have no problem getting dates.
They're jelous becuase probably they're not educated as you, they dont live a life you do. But I think you should move out, you're 28.
Atleast by 25ish and older, males will want to start a family. Even thought you might disagree with me, you'll find out later on.
Move out, go out with acouple of females and things will go smoothly.

Lol dude...you're just like me. Only I've never dated. I don't plan on getting married or having a family at all (I don't like kids, and marriage is not for me)...but if it happens, it happens!

I'm also attracted females! They be cute and soft! But I have no desire to pursue them. I'll just spare myself the embarrasment, the heartache, the fights and focus on my career.

I suppose that they think that since your behavior isn't typical of guys your age, it must not be healthy. Never mind them, though, because it's your life to live. If you're satisfied, that's all that matters.

Maybe they don't want to see you spend the prime of your life slowly selling your soul to some blood sucking corporation.
