There are lots of treatments for allergies, but the only cure I know of is allergy desensitation shots. They give you a tiny fraction of the substance to which you are allergic and slowly build up the dosage over several years. Eventually the dosage is as strong as what you would encounter normally in the environment. The shots really do work, but they take several years.

There is no "Cure" for allergies. It's something you are stuck with and learn to live with. You can how ever keep them under control with off the shelf medications. Ask your Pharmacist which he/she would suggest. Or, see your Dr. about it. My dad's allergies were so bad, every spring he had to have injections. It was well worth it. At least he was able to live and breath normal.

There is no actual cure. That being said, steroids such as fluticasone which are available from your doctor can help. You should also ask your doctor about a prescription for Albuterol inhaler which helps open your airways. Another key thing is to try to avoid things which trigger your allergies.

I hate the way the oral medications make me feel, the cure being worse than the cause. I suggest trying a nasal spray, they are directed only at the cause and work by reducing the swelling in the nasal passages and sinuses. Take paracetamol for extra comfort. See your chemist (drug store) for expert advice. If this works for you as it has for me you will enjoy hours of instant relief without the side effects of oral medications.
