We are leaving this week for 10 days to visit family in another state, and I feel like there's no way we could pack less...
B/w my husband and I we have 2 suitcases for clothes. My 2 year old has a small suitcase with his clothes. I am taking a small backpack with camera and stuff...
We have to take the stroller..
We have to take the diaper bag...
We have to take another small bag with his medications and his nebulizer...
Is it normal to carry so much for just 2 adults and 1 kid... thank goodness we rented a full size car...

"Books about witchcraft may disappear because self-styled censors are stealing them to keep them out of others' hands. "We are a tiny library in eastern Oklahoma and our most often stolen materials pertain to witchcraft. I am the non-custodial parent with 3 minor children living far away. Because of the high cost of travel and overnight accomodations for four as well as an excessive child support arrangement where I must send away over 90% of my disposable income for their support, I've not been able to see my children in person in 3 years although I do webcam with them weekly.

I have full rights of overnight unsupervised visitation on alternating weekends, holidays and for several weeks in the summer -- standard arrangement. But my sister has no children of her own as she chose to pursue her career instead. Now that she is too old to have children, she gloms onto mine which I haven't minded, as long as it is not to the sacrifice of my visitation.

Well this was the 3rd year in a row that she conspired with my Ex-wife to deny me visitation when they came from across the country to within a few hundred miles to my state. (continued below)

I work for a company in MA. We only have one floating holiday which we all work inorder to have the day after thanksgiving off. BUT the company is CLOSED christmas eve and new years eve and they require us to either that a vacation day or unpaid is this legal? Its not my fault they are not open.

so much of our government taking care of the heroes, huh?

I'm strongly anti-war because I lived in Iran during the 7-year Iran-Iraq war (in which the US strongly supported Iraq and its regime) and saw our windows blown out enough times, not to mention all other destruction war brings. I still get panic attacks if I hear thunder in the middle of the night. But I feel resentment towards dirty politics and politicians, not the innocents who fall victim. Many of the homeless are Vietnam war veterans...

Ever find yourself having a hard time waking up from a dream. Last night, I had the hardest time waking up. I woke up only when I was killed in my dream. I could feel myself trying to wake up but my eyes resisted to open. scared me a lot.

my dog went outside while it was snowing and sleeting. she ripped open between the pads on her feet. its pretty deep. is this a common thing for dogs. i had dogs my whole life and never seen this. we live in upstate new york weather conditions.

My girlfriend says her uncle always salted the inside of the turkey to "kill germs" which i don't think it works that way. I have not heard of salting the inside before. Wouldn't that make the turkey too salty tasting? Is there any good reason to salt the inside of the turkey?
