I would do a very fast evaluation of you to see if you were a threat. That would include a visual scan to see if you were armed and if you were accompanied. If I deemed you safe, I would continue to hold your hand and say hello. BTW, I'm straight.
If I deemed you dangerous, you would wake up in the hospital with a spiral fracture of your arm. The could cripple your arm.

That actually happened to me once: apparently I look like someone's gf from behind. I jerked my hand away and said Excuse me!

I would smile and say nice try probably after I slapped you
across the face. I do not like to be touched by strangers.
No matter how cute they are. It has happened to me before
guys have grabbed me and sang to me, or come up
and kissed me on the cheek. Those times I thought it was
a friend of my friend but NO it was just random strangers.

Aw, that sounds sweet, but I'd probably make you stop. Unless I knew you. then it would be okay. And if you didn't let go, I'd do that move I learned where you dislocate the guy's elbow.
