No, I enjoy the Xmas season. And the lights are something me and my mom always get together to ride around and look at.
I don't however like when people just throw up lights, with no care. You know what I mean, the light on the left side of the roof are blinking twice as fast as the ones on the right. And the one on the right are falling off hitting the fence. I think if you are going to decorate do it with a little feeling.

People can do what they want, and I think it's great that they can express themselves however they choose to... But in my opinion, all those lights and decorations are tacky and distasteful.. I only like some simple white lights. And elegant decorations, not big santas and stuff. But that doesn't make me better than anyone else.

No way! The more the better. I don't go out looking at Christmas lights to see some simple little display. That's no fun. I want the full monty! I want lights and decorations and glitz!

Nah. Many see it as a competition. Trying to be the best on their block or neighborhood. I agree with simple but that's because I don't get any joy from the putting up or taking down process.

I agree, but saying that we once stopped to stare at this ridiculously over done display, only for the lady to come out, give the kids who were with us sweets, and tell us it was for charity to raise money for the hospice her husband died in the year before. So, think before you shoot!Lol!

No. Let them enjoy their fun. We cover our trees and bushes with white lights, no big decorations in the yard. I sure wouldn't want to be shot for that, either.

i wouldnt go that far as to shoot someone,but things do get out of hand with these lights ,people go overboard and there homes look like pizzarias or carnivals. lmao!
