I have but one question, how does said person turn off their heterosexual feelings? Personally, if a woman stood in front of me naked, nothing would happen, but if a man did, it would. How exactly does someone turn off and on these attractions and bodily functions?

And don't use the nurture argument, it won't work, my family was a very traditionally Conservative Lutheran family.

This question is for those who say it is a CHOICE.

I like romantic movies especially Emma, Pride and Prejudice and Persuasion by Jane Austen. I like the ones like Pride and Prejudice where at first they hate each other and then they fall in love. I saw that BBC one of North and South with Thornton and it was kind of like Pride and Prejudice. Anyone know of any movies? I've seen the different adaptions like Pride and Prejudice so im looking for different movies. Thanks

I asked one of my silly questions yesterday anticipating it would either be deleted or reported. Neither happened. People of all kinds just started to play with it and have a good time. Every once in a while isn't it sort of fun to just have a laugh amid all the turmoil in this place?

Just out of curiosity...I was wondering if you've ever met a man who is smart AND really attractive.
If you have, what made him attractive and in what ways was he smart?

If you weren't having contractions, were full term in an uncomplicated pregnancy, why would you rush to hospital just because your water breaks? Especially in the middle of the night!!!! I mean, I understand you might call your midwife or the hospital to get advice, but why on earth would you rush to hospital just for waters?

Chances are you'd just get sent home again!!!

About a year and a half ago I read one of Maya Angelou's poems. Several months later I found a piece of paper with a poem on it, read it, and thought I wrote the verse. Today I picked up the same book I read a year ago, found the poem in the book, and realized I did not write the poem, that, in fact, it was one of Angelou's poems. I am 20 years old soon to be 21, does this happen normally to people or should I look into this memory fault further? If I were asked if that poem were mine without seeing the book again, I can ascertain I would have said "Yes, this is my work." My fear is if this happened to carryover in my schoolwork, this would be a perfect illustration of plagiarism, in my mind unintentional but very much occurring.. Any advice? Thanks.

Okay, sooo.. I need to get my girlfriend a single rose to put with her Christmas present. The problem is.. I have to bring it to school to give it to her. So, I'd have to pick up the rose the night before. I have central heating in my house. I'm worried that the heat will wilt the flower over night.. Does anybody have any suggestions to what I can do? Asking my parents isn't an option either.

I'm 16 and I go to a Catholic school and I think that I believe in God, but I think I might be gay and I've tried to stop thinking that way but it always bothers me. I stop myself thinking of guys in a sexual way and instead I try to think of girls but it's not changing. Today we watched a video in religion class, and it was about young people having bad influences. It was sort of a dramatic movie and at the start it had flashing images of all the bad influences, like drugs, media, and then one of the images was two men getting married and that really bothered me because I don't want to be like that and I know it's wrong, but how do I change?

I really WANT to be straight, it's not just because it's what society expects it's because I believe it's right, and most people would just say "there is nothing wrong with that" but I think there is, so how do I change myself?

Obviously steriods are bad and it ridicualous that is even in baseball. But with that said the Mitchell report has many holes in it. Roger and Andy are the only two on the report that have solid proof that they used. Most of the list is hear say and speculation. I don't believe they should have named any names at all until they check everyone in baseball and know for sure. In the report he said there are more players out there taking steroids if they would have dug deeper. If i had a vote I would look just at that stats of each player because until you look at every player in baseball you cant just label those players of steroids user. Because more than likely they used at one time.

Ok So Anan Ortiz, who come out in the show Ugly betty and play's the part of betty's older sister, came out in the show Dr. Quenn; Medicine Woman. at the start, we had a financial agreement that we would pay 1/2 of everything but he ended up not paying any of the rent - I paid each month - and I would end up paying the utilities before they got shut off!!! Now I want to try and recoup my $$. Can I sue or even put him through Court nightmare? Please advise. The total tally in rent alone is 1/2 of 5000! We do not have it in writing and the lease is in his name but the landlord is my friend who knew of the arrangment.

My live in boyfriend of a year has stopped caring about the little things. Like he forgets to call me after I called him hours ago. He always asks me to do little things for him, like starting the laundry, walking his dog, picking up dinner. But he always seems to not think of me when I need something. Sometimes, I would be out and I would see something that he would like (inexpensive) and buy just because I like to see the smile on his face. Now he only thinks about hanging out with his friends and football and poker get togethers. Guys, what should I do? I am crying as I type this........ :(
