I thought extraterritoriality for sex crimes only applied when the victims were kids. Don't get me wrong, I'm not advocating that rape is OK for illusionists or anything like that-just curious as to how the US can charge him for something that happened in the Bahamas.

“We were never more free than during the German occupation. We had lost all our rights, beginning with the right to talk. Every day we were insulted to our faces and had to take it in silence…and because of all this we were free. Because the Nazi venom seeped into our thoughts, every accurate thought was a conquest. Because we were forced to hold our tongues, every word took on the value of a declaration of principles…”

Is he correct? Why or why not?

Jn. 1:33, Jn. 3:22, Jn. 3:23, Jn. 3:26 and Lk. 3:16 all point to one simple conclusion. Jesus himself DID baptize people. In all probabiltiy, he baptized at first and passed the job along to his apostles as the crowds grew larger. For the context of this question... Chaper 7, http://gospelenigma.com

Why is it that so many denominations try to dodge this obvious indication that Jesus did baptize? Is it because this early baptising was called the "Baptism of Repentance for the forgivenness of sins"? (Luke 3:3)

Both Jesus and John were ENTHUSASTIC supporters of this early baptism for the "forgiveness of sins." Are evangelicals trying to hide the fact that something rather important was going on with regards to the forgiveness of sins, LONG BEFORE the crucifixion???

The last four U.S. Presidents are caught in a tornado, and off they spin to OZ. After threatening trials and tribulations, they finally make it to the Emerald City and come before the Great Wizard.
"WHAT BRINGS YOU BEFORE THE GREAT WIZARD? WHAT DO YOU WANT?"
Jimmy Carter steps forward timidly: "I had a terrible time with Iran, so I've come for some courage." "No problem" says the Wizard, "WHO IS NEXT?" Ronald Reagan steps forward, "Well.. Well.. Well.. I need a brain." "Done," says the Wizard. "Who comes next before the Great Wizard?" Up steps George Bush sadly, "I'm told by the American people that I need a heart." "I've heard it's true," says the Wizard. "Consider it done." Then there is a great silence. Bill Clinton is just standing
there, looking around, but doesn't say a word. Irritated, the Wizard finally asks, "WHAT BRINGS YOU TO THE EMERALD CITY?" "Is Dorothy around?"

I saw a news story where the EU plans to boycott climate talks until the U.S. makes cuts in energy consumption. Who the hell cares first of all? More importanty, is this what things are coming to... Are we going to allow the EU or UN or anyone to dictate to us what our energy consumption should be.

You people need to realize that industry, our economy, and any type of progress in this country will be impacted negatively by ANY policy which puts limits on energy consumption. Also, countries that we compete with on the global market, like China will never agree to do the same. These people are not anti-pollution - effectively, they are anti-progress and anti-United States.

Your Thoughts???
