In other words, when a municipality or locality has a history of police corruption, won't the citizens of the community find it hard to believe just about ANYTHING law enforcement in that community says after a while? Hence, prejudicing a jury to free a real criminal due to "doubt" weather reasonable or unreasonable.

How heavily does corruption weigh on the scales of true justice?

Out of curiosity, with a poorly insulated attic, aside from the warm air below raising and escaping through the attic, does the cold air above act like a vaccum, succing the warm air out even quicker?

Now to my attic, we renovated the rear portion of our 1968 house in Boston and during the process I reinsulated the back portion with faced R-38 and am now in the process of running R-13 or R-19 perpedicular.

The front portion of the house/attic insulation is untouched. It is a double faced R-13 at best.

My questions are:

Can I keep the double face bats down and run unfaced R-19 over it, then R38 perpandicular OR should I remove the existing bats, place new faced R-38 with R-13 or R-19 perpedicular, thus not wasting anything allready up there?

We moved into a new house and all of a sudden I am itching all over. I have red bumps that appear instantly with a dull itch. There are a lot of attic doors that have that pink insulation on the inside of them. I was wondering if it might contain acrylic because I am allergic to acrylic materials. Can't be bites, we have no mites or fleas. Bumps appear instantly. Any suggestions?

I'm addicted to food and by that I mean capsicum; I eat a least one raw chilli a day and can comfortably eat bird's eye chillis and scotch bonnet chillis raw. I add chilli to nearly everything.

I never so much as get the slightest upset from spicy food; rather I enjoy the benefits they bring: faster metabolism, clearer skin, lower cholestoral . . . chillis are such a good pain relief if I actually eat chilli to relieve pain rather than taking tablets.

I've read so many answers on this site regarding spicy food that say 'only in moderation' and 'they give you heartburn, ulcers and cancer'. It's all rubbish; eat as much spicy food as you like and enjoy the health benefits. It's only the minority cursed with poor digestive systems that can't make use of these amazing food.

So, I've been to college for years and I've never gone. Today, I have an appointment with one. Originally, I thought the job of a student adviser was to figure out schedules, give advice on classes, and help with the student's career track. So, I was going to discuss that with her but now I'm worried that I got an appointment with the wrong person! Help! What is the purpose of a student adviser and what type of questions are usually asked to them?

Music used to be about rhythm and originality
Politics, crisis and topicality
Now it's fake, whiney, popularized junk,
A mix of "gorexcore" and pop punk
At times I find it hard to not be satirical
Seeing these kids saying they are lyrical
It's not even about the music, just the "scene"
Like N'Sync half the fan base is in their teens
