Because some people see tyrants as hero's, they make out that he most have had some brain trouble are something to do the things he done. Of course some will believe the writings of writers like David Irving and others that deny the holocaust. They never of course mention the murder of physically and mentally disabled patients in the first years of the Reich. Why is that I ask that no one cares about these poor people who were the first to feel the policies of the Nazi's in all its EVIL.

Everyone knows some relative that if they were in 1930's Germany would have been murdered in the interest of a pure society.

I for one will never have sympathy for Hitler are any of his Nazi supporters even the deluded ones today that go around with the swastika on their arms as if it was a badge of greatness. It was not and is not its a badge of terror far greater than any terror that has been called that. .

I'm going to answer this question as if it were not a another invitation to rant.

I don't know anyone who does. I grew up around German immigrants, and they HATED him.

I know school teachers who are generally a liberal group of people who do every thing they can to educate the next generations about the evils he committed, and how taking what someone says as fact just because they sound convincing is a bad idea.

Can you give me an example of a quote from a specific "person" who "feels sympathy" for Hitler? Without a link, I can't answer your question factually, nor can any one else. We have offered you our opinions. Most of the opinions you are going to get will tell you how demented or uninformed or ill-advised such a belief would be.Those who say otherwise, like the anti-Semite above are demented, uniformed, or ill-advised, in my opinion.

So what is the payoff for your stirring up this nonsense? Is it really worth the 5 points?

Because they are narrow minded fools, who think he was right. How wrong they all are. These people exist in ALL levels of class throughout the world, and they will eventually die off, as will the memory of the Second World War, and as has happend with all wars. But the people who faught in these wars will not be forgotten.

The soldier on the battlefield is a son, a father, a husband, an uncle or a cousin, and at the end of the day they are all the same, it is only what they fight for that makes the difference

why don't you simply read and try to get an idea of what he was trying to do. and what great achievements he actually made. the truth is that by the end of the Iraq war it will be seen that Tony Blair's lies and deception will have actually killed more people than Hitlers idea did that sent us to war in the first place. but Blair has walked away with honer!! and respect.. + the truth is you just watched the labour party today sign an agreement which has placed the whole of Europe in the exact!!position that Hitlers national socialism was trying to put us in in the first! place. the only difference? millions of people were sent to their deaths to stop it happening. its a funny ole world.....and just for the record. Hitler was no coward. he was an ordinary fighting soldier during the first world war, and was awarded the iron cross for bravery beyond the call of duty.

There are some people who believe in Hitler's garbage. They are neither conservative nor liberals. The scary part is that they are still around and sprout this hate here in the USA.

Good citizens manage to minimized the harm through litigation. Also, Nat Hale is in prison for planning to kill a Federal Judge. However, sooner or later another can take his place.

Simply because he is so intensely hated by people even if they know little about him. Some see Hitler as someone who thought he was doing what he believed was for the best while in reality it wasn't.

It's not sympathy. It's great respect for a great Leader , most of the ideologies of whom , is not known to modern generation. It's mainly because, after any war , the Victrious side writes History and interpretes everything of the opponent to suppress the brutality committed by them.No Victorious side glorifies the the Leader of the vanquished.
Do you think Hitler was a mad man and a stupid?Had it been so , why did most Germans of that period of time simply worshipped him?Even today there are good number of Nazi groups in many countries ( all are not Germans).Nazism is something which is not highlighted by the allies of the world war 2.But, fact remains , there are lot of great logic and good philosophy in this .
On many occasions , poll survey was conducted in Germany 'whether the Germans want to have another Hitler as their Leader'.......the affirmative answers came out to be more than 80%(at times, this reached an astonishing percentage of 95%).The popualrity of Hitler was great and there are majority of thwe Germans who really want another Hitler to lead their nation.
I always wondered why non-Germans also love him and there are a good number of them in UK; France and Eastern Europe who do observe Birth Day of Hitler and also distribute pumplets anonymouslyin many parts of Europe to join Nazi Outfit............ there has to be good and healthy logic behind this.....otherwise, you can't expect the English or the French to follow his ideals(which are kept out of reach of others by the so called 'allies') after suffering so much after the German invasion in france and 6 months ofnon stop bombings over London and UK in general.

I have no idea how any sane person could feel one iota of sympathy for that maniac! Anyone who does aught to visit the death camps. It was absolutely barbaric what happened in those camps and NO human being should have been slaughtered in such a way, or any other way!
