I mean something like:

"Listen: Gays can get married and it won't do a bit of harm. Trust me on this."

Or:

"Um, guys, about all that anti-atheist rhetoric -- threatening and badmouthing a specific group of my kids is really not the way to get on my good side. Check out who won WWII if you don't believe Me."

Or maybe:

"The Chicago Cubs are gonna win the World Series. -- No, I won't say which year."

After you get over the initial shock of actually being addressed by Hisself, what would you think?

Jesus, who is God, has already spoken by His Word, the Bible. He won't change His mind in regards to what He's said in there.

The Word of God is eternal.

I'd be astonished to find that he's not the complete **** that most religious folk make him out to be. I'm open to the possibility of a god existing, just not the contradictory hole that the Bible portrays. I think an omnipotent being that we're supposedly modelled after would have a little more understanding of the world and the people in it.

If he/she/it actually, literally, spoke in a way that people could readily understand and agree upon, we wouldn't have this religious conflict. Until he/she/it does, I don't think any of us can claim to know the "right" way more than anyone else does.

I think I'd manage, but if he tried something like "Hey, actually, it wasn't Satan who planted all those fossils - it was me! Cool, huh?" -- then I might be a bit miffed.

I don't expect God to talk at all. So I'd think I'm nuts!

you can find your answers strait from God in the Bible, but you will probably reject them if it isn't the answers you want

My first thought would be; "wow, we really are made like him."
