...although there was a lot of talk about doing a film...a prequel, which covers more explicitly, the actual incident involving the original Blair Witch, as well as the '40's serial killer, who took the Blair Witch incident as inspiration, it looks like the project is pretty much dead; the makers of the original film, although having expressed enthusiastic interest in doing another one, have gone onto other things, after failing to spark interest in both Artisen and Lionsgate, in doing another film...

I hope not. The first one was excellent. The second one ridiculous.

I live in Maryland and I remember when the first episode aired I was in high school and everyone was packing up ready to go to Burketsville, MD just to camp out and check it out.

I even got pulled over after seeing the movie and a cop told me it was real. It was crazy.

But the second movie. SUUUUUUUCKED.

There will be another movie like it but with a different title and better special effects (hopefully better acting too). It's called Cloverfield. Look it up in Youtube.com to see the trailer.
