I have pain in my right elbow only when I lean on it. I don't have any pain that goes down my forearm or wrist and I don't have any tingling or numbness in my hand. I also don't have any trouble lifting anything but when I lean on it whether it be a pillow or a hard service I get shooting pain that brings tears to my eyes. And today I even have some throbbing pain when I am not leaning on it but only in my elbow. Any suggestions as to what this might be? I thought it may be tennis elbow but every description of tennis elbow that I come across talks about pain going down the forearm that I don't have. Any suggestions will be helpful. :)

For those that don't know: The United States is the world's largest emitter of greenhouse gases and the only major industrial country to have rejected the Kyoto protocol ("The objective of the Kyoto Protocol is to achieve "stabilization of greenhouse gas concentrations in the atmosphere at a level that would prevent dangerous anthropogenic interference with the climate system") http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kyoto_Protocol

There's a conference going on in Bali with 189 countries to work on negotiations for a new international climate change agreement.
http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2007/dec/13/climatechange.bali1

Background on the conference:
http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2007/nov/30/bali.climatechange

I really would like to know what the rational is for not working with other countries. Why does it work for other countries to do this but not the US? Would it really hurt?

Please back up your answers with fact (cite references and links) and not rhetori

He has been very good at going down to sleep since he was about 9 weeks old and sleeps through the night. Lately he is getting really upset as soon as I leave the room. I've tried sitting in the room next to his cot but he just rolls around and tries to climb up the spars. I've tried gradually moving back and back until he cannot see me then when I sneak out he realises and then starts to cry. I've tried going up every 5 mins to put him back on his back and give him his dummy (which falls out the cot with his crying) and he still cries. When he eventually falls asleep he usually sleeps through the night. This unsettling started when he had a cold but he is over this now. What can I do? Please help!

A very, very drunk man flops onto a bus seat next to a priest. His tie is stained, his face is plastered with lipstick and a half-empty bottle of gin is sticking out of his trouser pocket. He opens his newspaper and starts reading, but after a few minutes turns to the priest and asks, "Hey Father, do you have any idea what cause arthritis?"

"Yes," the priest replies sternly, "it's caused by loose living, being with cheap, wicked women, drinking too much alcohol and having complete contempt for your fellow man."

"Well, I'll be damned," the drunk mutters, and returns to his paper.

The bus carries on its way, and a few minutes later the priest, feeling guilty about what he has just said, nudges the man and apologises to him.

"I'm very sorry," says the holy man. "I didn't mean to come on so strong. It was mean-spirited and inconsiderate of me. How long have you been suffering from arthritis?"

"I haven't," says the drunk. "I was just reading here that the Pope has."

Everyone hates this party, but we don't hate eachother.
We just do it. What is the boss telling us by having this every year? Is it really about the money? Maybe he is embarrassed to hang out with us. Isn't is about more than getting together and eating food? I'm not asking him.

after 3 yrs of being far from the person i love, i am finally with him. we r planning to get married. We both study in universities at grad level. Since our universities r close to each other, i come every day to work with him in his uni. I am not wanting to have friends coz i dont want them to take me from him. i just want to be with him. Since there isnt anything official between us yet, i sometimes feel bad that people always see me with him(due to cultural and religious reasons). i do tell my friends that we r gonna get engaged next yr.however i dont want to have a bad reputation..
do u think that i should stop meeting him everyday at his uni and be less frequent in seeing him? we usually study together in his office at his uni..
