Troll or not...here's a link to help anyone interested in ***basic*** Egyptian history
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nubia

There are untold volumes of historical information about the black African contributions to world civilizations via the urban empires built in the land known today as Egypt (ancient greek meaning black).

So, for those who are seriously and dedicatedly interested, as I am, I recommend reading actual books (instead of internet with varying degrees of intellectual content) and maybe, if you can save up for it, taking a trip to the land once known as "the land of the blacks".

You are thinking of the Meroitic Kingdom which existed in the very late period (from around 800 BC to the 4th century AD). They were certainly Nubians, black Africans living in what is now the Sudan. Their culture was very much influenced by pharaonic Egypt - they built pyramids of mud brick, called their kings pharaohs and worshiped gods with names very similar to those of Egypt. They spoke a completely different language and many facets of the culture were different to that of Egypt - elements have survived into modern Sudanese tribal culture.

In the 25th dynasty (770 to 657 BC) several of the Egyptian kings may have been Nubians from Meroe, but this is impossible to confirm.

I think I noted that it is clear that halfway through the Ptolemaic period the pharoahs married Nubian queens (so Cleopatra as the last Ptolemy was part-black). One look at the mummy room in the museum there confirms it without equivocation. Egypt was a crossroads, and Nubians (and other black Africans) traveled through, traded with others, and were taken slaves at times. Anyone who has been to Cairo can see the myriad of ethnic types in the local population.

I'm going to use what another person said earlier.

The Egyptians themselves were a form of blend of races, they were part African and part Caucasian.

I know that at one point the Nubians did take over Egypt, but that's not an area of history that I am the most familiar with.
