its not under my name, she did not get insurance for me because i don't have a car, so if i get pulled over and ask for my license and insurance will i get in trouble??

You hand over her insurance card.

And you call the company to make sure you're a listed driver on the policy.

You need to be added to her insurance. If you get stopped, you may get away with it by showing her insurance card, but if you have an accident, the insurance probably won't pay. Then your Mother will be charged with allowing an uninsured driver to use her car. If you are told (here) that it is the car (not the driver) that is insured, call the company to make sure. It isn't that way in all areas.

Your mom needs to add your name to her policy. That way you can drive her car. The insurance company will then issue you a card that shows that you are covered.

Without the card, then you are not insured. and will get into trouble if you are stopped by the police.

Your parent needs to have u added to their insurance policy otherwise if there is an accident it will not be covered.

she should add you as a driver on th epolicy, but I think as long as you have her permission, youll be okay.
