Obviously steriods are bad and it ridicualous that is even in baseball. But with that said the Mitchell report has many holes in it. Roger and Andy are the only two on the report that have solid proof that they used. Most of the list is hear say and speculation. I don't believe they should have named any names at all until they check everyone in baseball and know for sure. In the report he said there are more players out there taking steroids if they would have dug deeper. If i had a vote I would look just at that stats of each player because until you look at every player in baseball you cant just label those players of steroids user. Because more than likely they used at one time.

I did see that but how do you know for sure with out a positive drug test even with that said how can you name just a portion of players with out naming them all.

They have receipts on some of these guys for the transactions when they purchased the steroids (quite a few from Tejada). I'd say that's pretty decent evidence.

Obviously this list isn't complete. There are definitely players we ALL know should be on that list that aren't. But perhaps Mitchell just couldn't gather enough proof to put them on. Or, considering he's affiliated with Boston, just didn't want to out any current players on "his" team.

Wait until Big Papi and Manny and several others have retired... we'll hear more about this.

If you are talking about the hall of fame it has been the hall of shame for years. Much more scandals that have been buried with the players past will never come out. We as fans will remember how we felt when we went to the stadium of our favoriate and it helped us cope with this crazy world we live in. We could worry about alot more than baseball players yet we love the game and it will go on because we are a forgiving buch so to speak for the most part. We have our memories of the greatest moment and that will stay with us forever, just like baseball.

Vote them in? As in, to the Hall of Fame?

I would. Same with Barry Bonds. I hate Barry Bonds, the person, as much as the next hater... but I dont care if he used steroids... steroids didnt make him a better hitter, it made him stronger. Hitting is so much harder than just strength, otherwise, wrestlers, boxers, professional weightlifters, etc. would all be great pro-baseball players. Same with Mark McGuire, Sammy Sosa, Roger Clemens, Andy Pettite, Rafael Palmeiro, etc.

I would. At first I thought it was just Barry Bonds. But its both pitchers and hitters. So they all cheated equally.
Its not like the old timers are cheat free. Ty Cobb used to run from home to 3rd when a ball was hit past the outfielder. There was only one umpire and he would be watching the ball not the batter. Funny how his triple production went from 20 plus to less than 10 when another umpire was added.
