A woman in a hurry to get her daughter to school on time was pulled over for speeding.

The mom smiled at her daughter and said "Don't worry dear! I can get out of this ticket."

The cop approached the car and he asked "Mam do you know why I pulled you over?" With a big smile she replied "Sure you are selling tickets to the policeman's ball."

He then said, "Mam, I am a State Trooper, we don't have balls."

My fiance broke up with me in June after dating for 4 years. She told me that she was depressed and needed to find herself. I was beyond Devastated from this. She told me that she wanted to stay friends. I miss her more than anything, but if anything, I am the one trying to hold the friendship, I have not heard from her in 3 months. I'm so tired of candidates running on canned slogans about what they are going to do about stuff that the presidency just has no control over -- usually because the issue is a constitutionally reserved state power, not a federal one. Example: education.
I realize that Congress can issue funded mandates to states that have to somehow be met, but generally they renege on the funding part and the mandate turns out to be a major fiasco in the end.
What I really want is a candidate who very honestly states what the president CAN do -- i.e. foreign trade agreements, veto legislation, seat supreme court judges, order the army around the globe (and hope that congress will agree), and present the face of America to foreign powers. Is that too much to ask?

I have to sit in many meetings at work and I am usually the youngest, lowest paid guy in the room. I worry; I am working my way up... I need some good buzz words during these meetings to baffle even the most experienced CEO or VP. Examples are "critical path”, "out of the box", "synergy", "touch-base”, I have seen many on-line... but I want some new ones. Can you help?
