The Qur'an was revealed 14 centuries ago. The Qur'an instructs Muslims to "contemplate the wonders of creation" (Qur'an 3:191).
It is filled with scientific facts and imagery that are supported by modern findings. Now, i give you one of the thousands examples:

"And Allah has created every animal from water. Of them there are some that creep on their bellies, some that walk on two legs, and some that walk on four..." (24:45)

This clearly, very clearly explains the evolution of animals (not men) , which they all started from sea creatures. This was first argued by Charles Robert Darwin, born in 1809, about 200 years ago.

Now, atheists, what else do you want? or you are just enjoying an argument?

If you still disagree, i do not see why you would, please, please have a read at Quran and decide yourself, since we all know human (me and you) could be wrong about what we think.

A system of monatomic ideal gas starts at a pressure of 1.0E5 Pa, a volume of 5.0E-3m and an initial temperature of 300K. Gas is confined to cylinder by a movable piston. Gas slowly expands at constant volume to pressure of 3.0E5Pa. This is point B. Next it undergoes an isothermal compression to point C. At point C the pressure is 1.0E5Pa. Finally gas is compressed isobarically until it returns to its original conditions of temperature, pressure and volume.
a) Draw the PV diagram
b) find the # of moles of gas
c) Find the Temperature at B
d) Find the change in internal energy (U), Q & W (work) for isobaric process
e) find the change in U, Q &W for isochoric process
f) find net change in internal energy for entire cycle
g) Is work done on or by the gas? Explain

I got a family member who self medicates with insulin. She needs it - how much is too much? She has blood sugar levels over 400 and struggles with depression. She seems to take 3 full shots a day. Is this normal or should I be concerned? She also has a heart condition and has had two strokes. How much insulin should she get? I dont know but I dont want to rock the boat if I am over-reacting.

Since most the shootings and killings that occur in the US take place at "gun free zones" would not having gun free zones make us safer?

Example, Columbine - school / V-Tech - College / Mall shooting in Omaha.

When these people snap, they go and target areas where people are gun free and helpless. Would things be different if there weren't gun free zones and American citizens were able to bare arms. Like the constitution calls for?

And this would not only be for pyschos on shooting sprees. Do you think the average criminal would think twice about robbing a gas station or anyone or anything if he thought that maybe he would be shot and killed in doing so?

1. Fine: This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.

2. Five Minutes: If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour. Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.

3. Nothing: This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing usually end in fine.

4. Go Ahead: This is a dare, not permission. Don't Do It!

5. Loud Sigh: This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about nothing. (Refer back to #3 for the meaning of nothing.)

6. That's Okay: This is one of the most dangerous statements a women can make to a man. That's okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.

7. Thanks: A woman is thanking you, do not question, or Faint. Just say you're welcome.

8. Whatever: Is a women's way of saying Forget YOU!

9. Don't worry about it, I got it: Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking "What's wrong?" For the woman's response refer to #3.

Please- no suggestions about where to buy one (I am making this about 6' square, it simply has to be custom). Please, no suggestions about knitting a felted square, or making a fabric-covered ribbon board (this is not for a 6 year old girl's bedroom). Please, no suggestions about a decorative wine cork thingy- this is not for kitchen decor. I specifically want to use cork, so please no suggestions about using fuzzboard or steel and magnets, or whatever. I would appreciate some serious answers here from crafty/woodworking people! We do have a decent amount of tools in our home, although nothing large and permanent like a table saw or jigsaw! Thank you!

From the NIV Bible, Deuteronomy 22:13-18
If a man takes a wife and, after lying with her, dislikes her , and slanders her and gives her a bad name, saying, "I married this woman, but when I approached her, I did not find proof of her virginity,"
then the girl's father and mother shall bring proof that she was a virgin to the town elders at the gate.
The girl's father will say to the elders, "I gave my daughter in marriage to this man, but he dislikes her.
Now he has slandered her and said, 'I did not find your daughter to be a virgin.' But here is the proof of my daughter's virginity." Then her parents shall display the cloth before the elders of the town,
and the elders shall take the man and punish him.
Deuteronomy 22:13-18 absolutely could not have referred to the husband covering his penis with the cloth and inserting it into his wife's vagina. The verse clearly talked about the cloth being in the parents' possession, and it clearly referred to having the evidence right before the wedding night.
How can you justify to your daughter or sister that it is Biblically and religiously OK to insert a finger (whether by male or female; it doesn't matter) into her vagina to test her virginity?
I mean, beside the woman's husband, who should really have the authority to touch her in her private like that, the husband doesn’t even have the authority if the wife doesn’t allow him.

It was Christians that put an end to the roman gladiatorial games and crucifixion.
When it comes to science it was a monk that was the father of Genetics (Joseph Mendel) and even the big bang theory was fist proposed by a catholic priest and he was ridiculed by many scientists.
Whatever you think of religion, If it weren't for superstition there wouldn't have been a pursuit of science. Chemistry is the descendent of Alchemy and astronomy is the descendent of astrology.
