Religious fundamentalism and greed. Admittedly these are problems with humanity in general, but America has asserted itself as a leader and we can only rightfully continue to lead by resisting these things.

3. lack of environmental concern
4. lack of rights for gay and lesbian citizens

But remember that there's a lot of things I do like about America, so don't expect me to bash our great country. We need a lot of changes, but my hope is that we'll get there some day.
