The same argument (by Hume) that states that there can be no true natural law (right and wrong built into the world by God and evident to all people) also destroys any hope for empirical science. Hume argued against Christianity by saying that the argument of God's existence from the universality of natural law cannot be. Man's ability to observe the world is internal and flawed. A person's senses are imperfect and easily fooled. The cause and effect (deterministic) behavior of the universe must be ASSUMED and cannot be proven. -- The validity of science is an assumption. Yet, there is still a universality of what is considered wrong or "sinful." Every country has laws against stealing and murder. Also, sin is not just a violation against God as some have incorrectly posited. Sin is a violation of the natural order. It has it own built in natural consequences. The Christian assumption is that the world is designed around love -- that the world was designed for people to put others ahead of themselves. Sin is a putting oneself in the center of the universe rather than God or others. Such selfishness leads to murder, stealing, hatred, wars, etc. While the Christian basis for the core cause of sin is based on revelation from God, the outcomes (the sinful acts) are universally described and independent from a belief in God.

I "believe" that "if" you are fluent with the physics "of" the English language then no...there is no such "thing" as excessive punctuation....
On the flip "side", if you completely lack the comprehension and "ability" to "use" proper punctuation...then you even POSTING an answer is "wrong" and said "answer" should be deleted "immediately" and that person "shot" out of a "cannon".
The one punctuation Faux Paux that "really" irritates "me" is the "improper" use of "quotation marks"
